Comments to exerpts from Chari's New Year Message!

A small exerpt taken from Chari's New Year Message for 2009.

The rest of the "Message" is just like this exerpt ... that anyone can hear in any churches around the world ... And tomorrow, the bullets will still fly in the name of religion, and the "pointing" will still come from the RELIGIOUS elite and aim at the "gays and lesbians" or other marginalized minority, the "curse of the bloggers", the "sinners", the other religions, "them", etc... and the POOR? the NEEDY? the SICK? The Seekers? They will have to wait for the TRULY SPIRITUAL to come out of some other "ism" than this current SRCM(California) GANG of "industrializing" and "polluting" materialists who play at RELIGION as they play at BUSINESS .... It's all just another "development" and just another "book" or trade-marked product to sell ...

Here is an exerpt of the "GEM", the "Pearl", from the SRCM(California) IDOL, for 2009 that should "LIBERATE" the idolatry in us, one and all:

"As abhyasis of Sahaj Marg, we have to be conscious of the fact that there should be only one goal in our human lives, and that is the goal of, first, liberation, second, realisation, and third and final, complete merger with the Divine. It is possible. And love and compassion? It's not in the Goal at all! Then just Do it! Who else, using Sahaj Marg have done it? Who is completely merged with the Divine among the SRCM(California) that was re-registered in 1997? Chari? Are you "completely merged" with the Divine? You are selling what you don't seem to posess ... The lower stage has evaded millions and millions and millions of human beings throughout the history of the world. In fact, (there are facts and then there is the TRUTH) history does not record more than a few who are supposed to have achieved liberation. Likely story!, and/but none from SRCM(California) and/but none from Sahaj Marg. In India, the pantheon of those who have achieved this is considerably larger (wrong!...just another un-provable claim without even naming anyone) and well recorded in the history of ancient India in what are called the Vedas, the Upanishads and the Puranas. It was the privilege of the rishis [seers] and the munis [saints], those who went away to the forest renouncing family, friend and the worldly life, who achieved this, many recorded; there again a large majority went unrecorded whose names are lost forever." (... and what have you and your "living dead", and clones of the Masters of Sahaj Marg, "recounced" in this "worldly life"? You who wallow and hob-knob in wealth with the "materialists" and preach "simplicity" to those who are simpler, poorer and more spiritual than you, and you who build (un-natural structures calling them temples and Ashrams) with marble and concrete as the poor children die around you! One Ashram or one church could feed quite a few "starving children". Tear down your "vatikas" (hermitages, vaticans), "Baal" (master), and help the POOR and the SICK and the NEEDY in your own country ! Leave the Charitable money that was raised in our countries to help the needy here. Private schools, ranches in Texas, and castles in Europe, for the wealthy and the "well to do" to use, are not "CHARITY" ! Where is the sense of ethics and morality that should come with "spirituality"?

"In today's world Sahaj Marg, as stated by Babuji Maharaj, is the easiest and the quickest way to the goal of liberation. (That is another false or "unprove-able" claim) But he has also emphasised that the subsequent goals of realisation and merger are not difficult, (another false, unprovable or spurious claim... It fools the gullible. I guess that is why so many have "merged with the Divine"... all the other steps are "not difficult!" I think you just make it up as you go along ... since it is so easy, I guess Chari is already "merged", along with Billy Graham, and Jimmy Swaggard, and Jimmy Baker and Mataji!! Who else?? Was "Vivekananda? Patanjali? Kirpal Singh? Any from other "cultures"? from other Religions, such as the SUFI? Is Lalaji? Has God "cut off" the connection for these also, as Babuji has claimed in his letter to Dinesh, Lalaji's grandson? Is this the God you worship? provided we set our minds firmly on this single achievement in this life, which is also the goal of human evolution and the goal of human life."

"All that is necessary for us, dear brothers and sisters, is to put our heart into the whole thing, meditate with the heart, meditate on the heart, meditate on the presence within the heart, the divine light, eschewing all other ambitions, (eschew your own material ambitions) material or otherwise, in the sure knowledge that Babuji Maharaj has given us, that our worldly life will be at the mercy of our samskaras that we have brought into this world. Nothing in it can be changed. (yet you and Sahaj Marg claim to "erase samskaras", but Catholic Priests, you state, can't "forgive sins" ) The physical cannot be changed: (wrong..the physical can and does "TRANSFORM" constantly!! Remember that! ) we cannot change in height, (wrong...we grow and shrink constantly. We are in a "continuum" reality) we cannot change in our colour, (wrong...just add sun-light and remove sun-light) we cannot change in our other situations such as education, (wrong...are you serious? this must be Chari's version of "invertendo") wealth, (wrong- you gotta be kidding, trying to confuse the "gullible", with "gobble-degook"? ) et cetera. It must be accepted that the mental changes are more easy, (wrong,,, you can't even change your own "mind"... most can't even make up their own minds and are led by every Tom, Dick and Chari) while the spiritual change, (wether one is "god-merged or not, the ALL transforms and changes... that is the nature of the REALITY of Space and Motion) that is from animal man to human man to divine man, is the easiest of all with His help. This is my Master's assurance." (What a Fantasy!! Man will transform and evolve in spite of this religious and cultic "fairy tale". Since it is not measure-able, anyone can say anything about SPIRIT and SPIRITUALITY... hopefully not for long!! Until spirituality is a measure-able state, we, as a society can aim at the "tax-exempt" status that such groups seek from our governments. These religious/spiritual groups who show the gauge of their "spirituality" by the hate statements they spew towards marginalized "minorities" such as the gays and lesbians, their gender-descrimination towards women who can be the "workers" but who can't be "masters", according to Chari, and their obvious elitist, sexist and totalitarian organization (dictatorship) according to their own constitution and records. ), should not be considered as "Charities".

(That last section is about as sad as the other statements. The "ONE", the SPIRIT, does not have to CHANGE nor does the SPIRIT that is usually seen as the ounce or the "iota" of the ONE that is in us all. That does not have to change. and if SPIRIT has more value or is more "long-lived" than MIND or intellect, then it will not change or will change very slowly! ... It is the other Created Material stuff that CHANGES rapidly and/or transforms readily (matter, mind, emotions, etc) ... Your teachings are erroneous and are arrogantly spreading your mistakes, dividing wives from their husbands, children from their parents, and causing general divisions in our societies and yours ... Your, and our arrogance is what has to "CHANGE"... not the SPIRITUAL WORLD or the ONE or IT's CREATION. It is perfect.

The plight of the POOR, the SICK and the NEEDY... that can change!... And that change is not "God's job". The condition they live in is caused by those who, like you and I, build of matter or concrete, rather than with compassion and LOVE for the plight, even if caused by destiny or by karma, of those suffering NOW on this Earth. They are all around us to HELP so we may learn "charity", as the religious hide in their "NATURAL" fortresses of marble and concrete and attract and use the energy, time and money of other "potential do-gooders" for their own self-serving religious ambitions or goals. And you, like the adherents to all other paths, you want to call your path: NATURAL!!

GIVE ME A BREAK!!! Give the WORLD a BREAK! Let us (you and I) take less so that others may have MORE!! One more religion or church will not save or LIBERATE the world. All Religions and GURUS etc..., all think they have the ONLY PATH to Merge with the ONE! You can't all be right!!

Please stop PREACHING SIMPLICITY to those who ARE and who live SIMPLER THAN YOU!! Please leave a smaller and simpler Material (carbon) "footprint", using and manufacturing less MATERIAL and polluting less of the air, water, and the minds of us ALL, so that some MATTERAL (air, water, food) will be left for the next generations ... May you find some COMPASSION for the future generations, and may you teach and live that!

And may you remove from circulation, and burn all copies of your book: (He! The Hookah! and I) wherein you accuse (or... "point at") the bloggers (US... all of us ) of being the "enemies of spirituality", if you are to preach "FORGIVENESS"... TEACH by example!

If you want to be a LEADER, then lead, so that your "living dead" disciples can follow in forgiveness, charity and compassion ...

Hi all...

As we become a Global community and we take our Freedom from the historic control of Religion, one of many things that could unite us is our method of measuring MOTION in and of SPACE, as we measure the MOTION of the planets, the suns (stars), the galaxies, the Universe either with meters, kilometeres, etc. (SPACE) or with seconds, minutes, hours, months, years, etc. (TIME)

What has historically been the domain of RELIGION up until now will hopefully soon be taken over by SCIENCE and our new multi-dimensional calendars will reflect astronomical events rather than RELIGIOUSLY or Tribally significant events such as the birth of a MYTHIC or even of a HISTORIC (religious or spiritual) person. We don't want in these rational moments, to create a "new" global calendar that starts counting our cycles of Motion through an expanding Space, at the birth of the FOUNDER of the UNITED NATIONS, for example. And we can certainly question the names of our "monthly units" of time: January for "Janus", a Roman God previously representing "chaos", and July and August for Roman emperors of the Pre-Christian past, etc. The names for the months of September, October, Novenber, December, are simply latin numbers and can remain. Notice also that March (spring) was the first month of the Roman year, not January 1st, and that May and June may have had "sexist" undertones in male dominated Rome.

Although all these tribal and religious debates seem silly and childish from this perspective, we will soon become a Global Civilization, what Michio Kaku, a physicist calls "civilization I (ONE)", to indicate that up until now, we were not even a "civilization" but a conglomerate of tribes, religions, nations, or races. Those cultural and religious divisions will hopefully soon go the way of the now-extinct "dodo bird" along with "uniformed" national wars and "World Wars", as the planetary and solar system Gods of Religions and of national and racial and cultural Divisions, lose their power over the population and that we, as one "people", as a phoenix, begin to rise from the ashes of previous ages, and to look to the Galaxy and Groups of Galaxies and to the Universe, for our sources of energy and inspiration.

In other words, Science should soon replace Religion as the field of contact with the exterior "ALL" of CREATION and leave the spiritual quest of accessing or communing with the inner ONE-ness to the realm of SPIRIT, defined as an experienced and rarified, but un-seen, un-measured, un-proven, un-touched, form of REAL energy... or in other words: SPIRITUALITY...

May we all revel in these last few "NEW YEARS" of the "Christian era", that have lasted for 200? years, and that should also depict the last years of our civilization's RELIGIOUS era, as we journey towards a more rational, and less emotional future, free from the blind OBEDIENCE and the Divisions and TYRANNY of RELIGION.

Let us ascertain that the NEW AGE is more Rational than the past RELIGIOUS Age! Away with the charlatan-istic magic of religious miracles, (transmission, forgiveness of sins, samskaras, etc...) and free from the religious mysteries (ONE GOD, in THREE... a TRINITY), towards the REAL-ITY of the Magic, the Miracle, and the True Mystery of our EXISTENCE, and the ONE-ness of the ALL (physical Creation)!

Einstein said: "The most incomprehensible thing in the universe is actually that humans can comprehend it!"

Let us strive in this continuous, but not "New", cycle of our beloved home planet EARTH (Gaia, to the Greeks) around our average star (that in English we call the "SUN", but was "SOL" to the Egyptians of old), in an average galaxy that we call: Milky Way, in a "Local GROUP" of gravity-bound Galaxies, that we don't add more "emotions" to an already "hyper-charged" emotional and religious and hence tribal debate.

Let us strive to reduce "name-calling", and un-substantiated accusations and judgements unless they are stated as coming from other sources (even anonymously). Then we are simply "REPORTING"... then we are the NEW MEDIA or the INFONAUTS... We, the bloggers, don't have to prove ourselves RIGHT! We can simply report the stories of the average people, and discuss these in rational terms and vocabulary without being dogmatic, or religious!

As Jean-Luc Picard of the Star Ship Enterprise on Star Trek would say:

"MAKE IT SO!!"

or in the Religious (latin) terms of the PAST:

"AMEN" (So Be It)

Open letter to Pope Benedict XVI

Congratulation on you recent election as Pope of the Roman Catholic Church and Pontiff or Head of State of the Vatican. Please consider these two points I make as a child of the ONE God.

Countries and governments are asked to adhere to certain principles to belong to such organizations as United Nations, European Union, and NATO etc.

You sir, as the Pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church, and as a disciple and representative of Jesus the Christ, on earth, could lead as a peacemaker, by making a statement in support of the two requests enunciated below, which I believe your Lord, Jesus of Nazareth would readily endorse.

There is one principle that all spiritual movements, religions and in particular the major or “traditional” religions, non-profit and charitable organizations of the world should voluntarily adhere to so as to receive "charitable" status. The theological principle is:

God does not command people to kill, or God Forbids Murder or in Biblical terms: Thou shall not kill.

Religions that do not endorse and do not adhere to this theological principle should not be considered “charitable” and hence, not be "tax exempt". In some extreme cases where the criminal aspects of some "holy book" or "holy decree" can be shown to have a direct link to a criminal act, the leader of the group should be brought before the courts under "hate literature" or "inciting violence" legislation. If found guilty, such religions, spiritual movement, group, organization or cult should be disallowed from operating inside the boundaries of "civilized" countries (I.e. The countries that adhere to this principle). If found guilty, their wealth and belongings should be confiscated or seized and used to compensate the victims.

Churches who use "holy books" to condone "killing" also use "holy books" to marginalize or discriminate against certain groups in our society such as women, or the gay community. The "emotional" word attributed to the Biblical God, Yahweh, in this last case of discrimination is "abominable". Please help us put society's religious concepts of God, and the organization and business of religion, on trial for all to see, so as educate the masses in matters of theology, without jeopardizing anyone's right to "freedom of religion" or "worship".

You sir, as a theologian, can certainly agree with:

Point one: (The Principle): I ask you to voluntarily extricate from your Holy Books, all references to God commanding men (usually) or women to commit criminal acts. Specifically, killing, murder, war and genocide. (I.e. Bible: Joshua, Abraham, etc.)

Those acts, in a civilized society, should be viewed and dealt with in the same way we would deal with an individual, who today would claim that "God" told him/her to kill his offspring, neighbour, or members of another group. Hopefully with the blessing of the Roman Catholic Church, our Mental Health and Justice systems would be called in to deal with such a person. This act of depravity should be categorized either as a "sickness", a “disease” or a "criminal" act unless there is an element of “self defense”, as in a physical or violent attack by another individual or group.

Leaders of countries, and revolutionaries, claiming to be religious, and making claims of divine inspiration, lead their followers to war(holy wars). Some even make these claims in public. Some Gurus demand obedience to the point of "killing your mother". Some even write it in their books.

It is not acceptable theology, nor good morals or ethics. Churches and church leaders can be encouraged or pressured into expressing concepts of their ONE God who, at least, adheres to His/Her/Its own commandments and does not speak from both sides of His/Her/Its mouth. You sir, could thus command the respect of the Catholics and members of other religions, spiritual movement and even some atheists, and your numbers would grow. You could, if you wanted to emulate Jesus, the good shepherd, also decree that all Catholics will not kill in war anymore, as the Quakers have done. Catholics can obey the ONE God and follow or emulate Jesus at the same time.

Point two: (Science)

Churches, and in particular the Roman Catholic Church, have always historically claimed that science should not interfere with man's quest for the divine. Then I would ask you, as Pope Benedict XVI, to organize a seminar of "men of science" with the sole function of creating a "globally acceptable calendar" and get your religion out of the business of science. Churches historically, in their attempt to control the masses have always tried to control the method of counting time, hence the "Julian calendar" and later the "Gregorian calendar". So I would ask you sir, as Pope to give back to academia their "scientific" method of counting time; one that is tied to a cosmic event rather than the birth of some arbitrary character. Calendars should have either moon, sun or galaxy components (three calendars in one?) and no societal aspects. Help us get religion out of our science and help us get on with the huge job of uniting the people of planet Earth so as to deal with inevitable future cosmic events.

The history of religion is one of flawed theology. Flawed theology has developed into flawed philosophy, flawed morals, ethics and finally flawed societal systems, including justice and science. We can easily see such flaws in the "Julian" and "Gregorian" calendars and the persecution of men of science throughout the ages. This is not to mention the persecution and ultimate destruction of much superior calendars belonging to the "so-called" primitive cultures of the "new world".

You sir have the power and the responsibility of helping to make your religion more spiritual. Where religion ends, spirituality begins. One is extrovert, one is introvert. One is pomp, one is humble. One kills (even God), one offers life (God).

May the ONE God Bless you and all the Roman Catholics of Planet Earth.
