until the children reach the age of majority to push Sahaj Marg(tm) onto them.

There is a lesson to learn here for those who practice Sahaj Marg (tm) and/or for those involved in their society SRCM (Calfornia-1997), and who go about creating "bad feelings" for others in this life. This is a lesson for all those who make "enemies" of honest and truly spiritual people of INTEGRITY!! All those "GOOD PEOPLE" who reject "Spiritualism", (spirits, mediums, egregores, messages from the dead, etc...) and intolerance (homophobia, racism, etc...), in all its forms !!
"I remember when I was at school, I had a teacher who was supposed to be teaching English. It was a British school – what would be called a public school. And I have never forgotten this, though I would love to forget it. There was something about one word which could be spelt in two different ways and had two different meanings. I forget what that word was. He challenged [me]. I was shopping once in France, and they had these machines (totalling machines). But he totalled and made a mistake, and it was a big mistake. It was almost twenty per cent of the bill. In Europe it’s not polite to point out mistakes, (Those who live in Europe know that this is "silly", and probably not true!! A "tall tale" for the children!! ) ... especially as I was standing on the wrong side of the table and I am not expected to be able to total it from the wrong side, you know. They are writing here and I am standing there. So, I whispered into Jacky’s ear, “The total is wrong.” He said, with a look of incredulity, “But, Chariji, it cannot be. It cannot be!” I said, “But it is.” And fortunately, without fighting me for it – “Let us fight for it!” – the shopkeeper corrected it and apologised profusely. So, I had this ability to total from the wrong side. It was fun when I used to do it for practice wherever I went.

Every time you feel a little weepy, there must be a memory which says, “Come, come, it is not as bad as all that.” And you console yourself, pretend there are no tears in your eyes, and march off singing. So, it is essential to have good memories so that our batteries are kept recharged. Always we think well of the past; of those who were with us in the past; of those who helped us in the past; even like my English teacher who did not know the difference between ‘anonymous’ and ‘unanimous’. Those were the two words which he could not differentiate and which caused him to become my enemy because I pointed it out to him.
So, that I still carry this memory shows that it was not good to have told it to him; but on the other hand, that I pointed it out to him, showed that it was necessary to correct a teacher who was wrong. Because when we students are not expected to be wrong, how can we permit the teacher to be ‘right’ when he is wrong? Isn’t it? Then we have to say, “Sir, you are right every time you are wrong!” That would be fun, isn’t it?
Remember those which, having left his version of Sahaj Marg(tm) and his version of "spiritualism", Chari calls: the "enemies of spirituality" in his book: He, the Hookah and I" ??

PR: The trouble with all of you is you think living is different from doing something. But I find that living includes doing something. And if I am able to do what I want, what my heart tells me to do, my life is good, pleasant, happy, comfortable. If I am forced to do something which my heart says no (my heart, mind you), my head may say, “Why not? It’s profitable.” But we are not talking of profit here; we are talking of happiness. They are not the same, because if you look around the world today, the most miserable people are the rich people. They have too much: too many houses, too many cars, too many suits of clothes, too many servants, too many companies, too many incomes. (lol,lol... NOT TRUE!! Chari is talking about himself. Ask to poor to help (donate to) the rich, that is Sahaj Marg(tm) ... How many houses built with CHARITY dollars, are enough for Chari and his son?? Look in the mirror!! Hypocrisy!! ) And all they are concerned with is, “Where to invest my next twenty-five crores, or two hundred and fifty crores.” Our life should not be like that.
Our life should be happiness with minimum possessions. (Give your many "cottages" to the poor!!) You will find that when you have minimum, you don’t worry about anything. You are not worried about thieves and robbers; you are not worried about the stock market. I mean there is nothing to worry about. So, choose the happy life and not the life of profit.
Teach that to yourselves first!! ... the materialist adults who are the "inner circle" of SRCM(California-1997), are who are invading foreign commercial markets!! (Pharmaceuticals, denim jeans, etc...).
There is a difference between BEING and DOING!!

Sahaj Marg (tm) and their VBSE School Curriculum Compares Religion and Spirituality
From the Value Based Spiritual Education (VBSE) curriculum, Class X (10), Chapter X(10). This is the last Chapter of the last Class of the curriculum. See the complete Class 10 at link above. This curriculum was developed by Sahaj Marg(tm) and is in place at their school in India: Lalaji Memorial Omega Internation School (LMOIS). Do they practice what they teach (preach)??
Notice there is no mention of Spiritualism, "standards of spiritualism", mediums, messages from the dead (beyond the grave), egregores, etc.!! Also no mention of the ethics and morality of re-registering SRCM in San Luis Obispo, California, USA, when Chari was denied the Presidency of SRCM(Shahjahanpur-1945) by its Board of Directors. Oops! We don't mention that!!
There is also a chapter about "honesty". Oops! Who pulled down the pants of the teacher? ;-)) They also want the students to site an example of how religions divide humanity. (see below)

* Religion: It should be considered as a kindergarten school of spiritual life. It is where we learn some basic ideas of God – What God is? What divinity is? – things like that. Religion enforces an externalization of the mind in man’s search for God. Religion requires belief and faith. Religion speaks of seeing God, speaking with God, hearing God’s voice etc. The purpose of religion is to put a developing child into an environment where ethics, moral living, truth – all these things are taught and where in addition some idea of God is given.
Eg. Take different shaped bowls and fill them with water. Now pose the question to the class as to which bowl would they choose to quench their thirst. They will not hesitate to choose any bowl, because they are concerned only with the water and not lured by the external appearances of the bowls. This analogy reveals that the nature of different religions, their tenets, their mode of practice and religious leaders may differ, but the one essence or aim is to realize God. The word religion is derived from the Latin expression re-ligare, which means to unite or to bind or "to go back to the source" or "to reconnect us with God."

There are five very important reasons, why we should get away from religious bondage –
a. It creates division among people.
b. Every religion talks of "one God" but states that only their God is the best.
c. It promotes disharmony, violence and wars.
d. The real meaning of the tenets is forgotten and only the rituals are adhered to.
e. Religions put fear and temptations into the hearts of the people.
All religions in the world say the same thing i.e. "seek within". But do they? The answer is NO. Then what is the way? Transcend religion and move towards spirituality.
* Spirituality: The word spirituality has its birth in the word ‘Spirit’ which refers to the soul or the life force. The process of realizing this soul is spirituality.
Spirituality is not a progress or a search or travel in time. It is a travel in and into eternity. Spirituality gives us Love – Love of God, to become one with Him.
Spirituality is supposed to concern itself with the soul, just as education is with the mind, physical exercise with the body and achievement with the ego. So the whole idea in Spiritual practice / Spiritual life is to progressively refine ourselves. Spiritual practice is the only possible way of changing the heart in such a way that there is a lasting change in human character. There can be no spirituality without morality.

UNIC (Information Center) exploited by the SRCM(tm)
Building on its success of last year, the SRCM(tm) renews its attempts to gain legitimacy by exploiting the UN Information Center, India (UNIC). On the occasion of the International Year of Youth, it is again holding an essay contest around the "formation of character" in Indian schools. At the same time, it seeks to increase the dissemination of its education program based on (spiritual?) values in schools (VBSE). Remember what this U.S. abhyasis (Shelly Gould Burgess) said last June:
“A few years ago when I first heard about the Mission’s observance of United Nations Days, I was confused. I admit it. I didn’t understand why we were doing them or what our involvement with the UN really meant. (…) In terms of benefits, these United Nations Days provide a fantastic way to reach out to our communities. Here in America our culture can tend to be suspicious of a spiritual organization that has a guru. However, the United Nations is generally considered a positive, upstanding global organization. When we reach out to our communities via our association with the United Nations, we may become a bit more legitimized in the eyes of a society that views the unfamiliar with apprehension. That’s a good thing in terms of opening people’s minds and hearts to the wonders of Sahaj Marg.”

The SRCM displays a great opportunism by exploiting some of the dispensary of UN programs, only to find some legitimacy.
Objective: To export the VBSE in Europe
The innovation of the year is the opening of the contest outside of India with the aim of better exporting the VBSE (Value Based Spiritual Education) to Europe and elsewhere. It's been two years since SMRTI (Sahaj Marg Research and Teaching Institute) officials have been trying to replicate the success of their Indian director, Kunchithapadam Seetha. The VBSE has now taken two directions depending on the age of their target audience: character formation for adults, and value-based education for children. In this spirit, a training program was developed by the team led by Elizabeth Denley for adults, and it is clear that training seminars have multiplied in Europe and at the Indian Crest. For children, the objective pursued by Trødni Tilde and Dominique Descartes is to propose activities based on values in the ashrams, during the group meditation of the adults or during the Indian celebrations to try their hand, then to offer them to schools when they are better understood.
Some examples of activities for children listed in Europe: farm tours, walks in the forest, treasure hunts, water or beach games, etc.. It is only to occupy the kids and to enable their parents to engage quietly in their spiritual activity. When one thinks that these actions should follow the LMOIS (Lalaji Memorial Omega Internation School) model, we can measure how the goal remains elusive for the moment.
Remember Chari's anger and the letter from his Augerans (old Peugeot castle, and ex-SRCM headquarters in Europe) manager to children. It was May 21, 1991, almost 20 years ago:
"(...) Good news for us all! The Master, our Chariji will be back soon (...) If he has placed us in penance (detention?) for Christmas, it was to force us to think and to understand that you can not come to the Augerans ashram as one goes on Holiday (...) You will then come to the ASHRAM to see the MASTER and to participate in a SPIRITUAL SEMINAR. "
Chari did not agree to be disturbed by noisy children and had put the abhyasis "in penance". This has not fixed itself with age. The Augerans manager wrote a very clumsy letter to the children to scold them, today they offer activities so as to channel them! The VBSE is not close to going into European schools with that ...
For now, these are just very clumsy attempts, and their success seems very uncertain, but suffice it for very little to transform these attempts. India is a good example ...

It seems that the Jehova's Witnesses who were members of the UNDPI (Department of Public Information) in 1991, have voluntarily withdrawn their membership. Here is the "JW's letter of resignation"... My! How "honourable"? ... I guess they won't be "legitimized" ... It now seems that the UN DPI is including "dictatoships", the corrupt and the opportunists who seek "legitimacy"!! Does that reflect on the "corruption" inside the UN itself?
We know of some European members of SRCM(tm) inside the UN ... If you write to the UN about the "Shri Ram Chandra Mission" (SRCM(California-1997), your letter could be "intercepted", so send it to the "Secretary General"... Let's see if that reaches those in charge of the UNDPI.
Membership to the United Nations is limited to "countries".
Membership to the UN DPI (Department of Public Information) are "non-profit societies" (with an "empowered" Board of Directors, or DEMOCRATIC), who want to promote the ideals of the UN ... not the opportunists who want to promote and legitimize themselves and their RELIGION and their Beliefs and philosphies (or lack of, as with Sahaj Marg(tm) under Chari), by exploiting the United Nations and their programs, for their nationalist and selfish goals (conquering the world) ...

United Nations Days and SRCM – An Abhyasi’s Perspective

The SRCM displays a great opportunism by exploiting some of the dispensary of UN programs, only to find some legitimacy.
Objective: To export the VBSE in Europe
The innovation of the year is the opening of the contest outside of India with the aim of better exporting the VBSE (Value Based Spiritual Education) to Europe and elsewhere. It's been two years since SMRTI (Sahaj Marg Research and Teaching Institute) officials have been trying to replicate the success of their Indian director, Kunchithapadam Seetha. The VBSE has now taken two directions depending on the age of their target audience: character formation for adults, and value-based education for children. In this spirit, a training program was developed by the team led by Elizabeth Denley for adults, and it is clear that training seminars have multiplied in Europe and at the Indian Crest. For children, the objective pursued by Trødni Tilde and Dominique Descartes is to propose activities based on values in the ashrams, during the group meditation of the adults or during the Indian celebrations to try their hand, then to offer them to schools when they are better understood.
Some examples of activities for children listed in Europe: farm tours, walks in the forest, treasure hunts, water or beach games, etc.. It is only to occupy the kids and to enable their parents to engage quietly in their spiritual activity. When one thinks that these actions should follow the LMOIS (Lalaji Memorial Omega Internation School) model, we can measure how the goal remains elusive for the moment.
Remember Chari's anger and the letter from his Augerans (old Peugeot castle, and ex-SRCM headquarters in Europe) manager to children. It was May 21, 1991, almost 20 years ago:
"(...) Good news for us all! The Master, our Chariji will be back soon (...) If he has placed us in penance (detention?) for Christmas, it was to force us to think and to understand that you can not come to the Augerans ashram as one goes on Holiday (...) You will then come to the ASHRAM to see the MASTER and to participate in a SPIRITUAL SEMINAR. "
Chari did not agree to be disturbed by noisy children and had put the abhyasis "in penance". This has not fixed itself with age. The Augerans manager wrote a very clumsy letter to the children to scold them, today they offer activities so as to channel them! The VBSE is not close to going into European schools with that ...
For now, these are just very clumsy attempts, and their success seems very uncertain, but suffice it for very little to transform these attempts. India is a good example ...

It seems that the Jehova's Witnesses who were members of the UNDPI (Department of Public Information) in 1991, have voluntarily withdrawn their membership. Here is the "JW's letter of resignation"... My! How "honourable"? ... I guess they won't be "legitimized" ... It now seems that the UN DPI is including "dictatoships", the corrupt and the opportunists who seek "legitimacy"!! Does that reflect on the "corruption" inside the UN itself?
We know of some European members of SRCM(tm) inside the UN ... If you write to the UN about the "Shri Ram Chandra Mission" (SRCM(California-1997), your letter could be "intercepted", so send it to the "Secretary General"... Let's see if that reaches those in charge of the UNDPI.
Membership to the United Nations is limited to "countries".
Membership to the UN DPI (Department of Public Information) are "non-profit societies" (with an "empowered" Board of Directors, or DEMOCRATIC), who want to promote the ideals of the UN ... not the opportunists who want to promote and legitimize themselves and their RELIGION and their Beliefs and philosphies (or lack of, as with Sahaj Marg(tm) under Chari), by exploiting the United Nations and their programs, for their nationalist and selfish goals (conquering the world) ...
