Hi all,
I am gay and abhyasi. I never took Chariji's homophobia seriously till the time i heard one of his speeches on 'he, hookah and I" series (or whtaever it is called). That really disturbed me a lot. I stopped meditating and doing cleaning. Well it just made me irritated an irritated fellow. So i started my practice again. stopped again. started again and now i do it on and off. I would have loved that Chariji were more spiritual than he thinks.
I also heard that a french gay couple was split because he got one of the partner's married to a woman. I don't know how what their lives have become now but i do sincerely hope that they remade their lives and are happy with it.
I came out to Chariji a long time back by mail. Never got a reply...hehehe lol. I even sent him an email to inform him that i was going to sign a civil partnership with my partner. He never replied... hhehe lol.
Well just wanted to drop a line because i liked your articles and would really like to interact with abhyasis or ex abhyasis who are gay or gay-friendly.

Sahaj Marg(tm) LMOIS, ASPnet and UNESCO

Founded in 1953, this global network brings together more than 9,000 educational institutions (kindergartens and primary schools, secondary schools and vocational training institutions and teachers) in 180 countries, working in support of international understanding, peace , intercultural dialogue, sustainable development and quality of education ..
The letter "One World, One Humanity" of SRCM with the UNDPI in December devotes much of its content to this "rapprochement".

SRCM (California-1997) and the UNDPI Scam!

On Dec. 7, 2009, while the United Nations Climate Conference was taking place in Copenhagen, the Global Peace Initiative of Woman (GPIW) hosted a meeting of "spiritual leaders" at the SRCM (California-1997) Copenhagen Ashram. (approximately 50 attended ... see and count in the photo at the link above) (a few abhyasis belong to the GPIW)

The environmental crisis is a call for all nations and all sectors of society to come together and find ways to reduce the impact of human activity on earth's climate. There are moral, ethical and spiritual underpinnings to this call. For the human community to deal effectively with climate change, we must recognize that the environmental crisis is a moral and spiritual crisis.
Religious and spiritual leaders have a central role to play in helping the human course and evolve more life-sustaining societies, where development is guided not only by immediate needs but by the wisdom of longer-term vision.
The SRCM (California-1997) Businessmen and developers are now asked to be "guided by the wisdom of longer-term vision". How many developments did SRCM complete since its inception? How many trips have been taken by the SRCM abhyasis to India and all around the world as they chase God and their Guru? A God which is ONE, and is Everything, Everywhere, and Everywhen (the E-Trinity)!! How large are the collective "carbon footprints" of the Religions of the world and their "pilgrims" .. the SEEKERS who are organized by religious businessmen/women?
Now the developers and businessmen will "save the world"? Nah-ah!! Will the self-titled Master not celebrate his ego and cancel his "birthday bash" next year? I doubt it! Will they take the crisis seriously? They are businessmen and developers!! They will pray and create a "photo-op"! They will cover themselves with "flags" and pretend to give to the poor with "cheques of wishes"!! That should fool the gullible "fans" of the idols ...
Remember the tactics of the American advisors to the Bush administration:
This is not a "global warming" crisis... it's simply the more innocuous "climate change"... don't worry, be happy, gaze at your navel, and pray or meditate, and then meet and talk ... they will do NOTHING but play the semantics game!!
Don't they all sound like "gurus" with their fantasies ??
Don't they all sound like Nero, the Roman Emperor fiddling while Rome burned? ... to then blame the fire on the "Christians"? ... the enemies of "GOD" ... or as Chari calls us (the bloggers): the "enemies of Spirituality"... (we are in reality, the exposers and tranformers of the scam that is Chari's brand of SPIRITUALISM!!)

The SRCM offered a prayer for poverty !! They claim 150,000 in India participated in the prayer ...
That's action ... useless but... How many centuries have the "religious" prayed for PEACE?
... no money flowed to the poor, but money still flows from the poor to the wealthy businessmen and developers who operate the shell which is the Mission !! All the property is owned by the SMSF (Sahaj Marg Spirituality Foundation).
Abhyasis clean their samskaras. So they claim to be doing environmental work and should be funded for cleaning up the slums (in their minds) ... by praying ?? Now that is "charity"?? NOT!
(see photo) The symbolic (phoney) cheque for 173 million "wishes" will certainly fill some "stomachs" (NOT!) ... just like a religious businessman and/or developer pretending to give ... Wheee! The poor will finally eat tonight, thanks to the "wealthy" religious businessmen ... a "wish" sure tastes "cruel"!!

Like the spiritualist and corrupt Roman Catholic Church of the 15th Century (Pope Leo X) before the Protestant Reformation, who sold "indulgences" Chari sells "erasing of samskaras"!! So much for the Law of KARMA!!)
According to Babuji, in his letter of 1957 to the UN:
"It is only the spiritual force that can remove the causes of war from the minds of people"...
The solution? Another prayer!!
All the while, Babuji did not want a "slava (dark) complexion" wife for his son, nor a woman with the wrong "cut" (shape) and/or "height". Also, Chari is bad-mouthing the homosexual minority, and the abuse of "human rigthts legislation" when applied to homosexuals, comparing homosexuality to bestiality, ... Maybe if "people" were more compassionate and more tolerant, and not like the "spiritualists and the religious", then there would be less violence and less wars!! And there would be less divisions among the followers of the various new religions and so-called "spiritual" movements.
Most, such as Sahaj Marg(tm) are really "spiritualism", with an anonymous French lady medium, egregores, and messages allegedly channeled from the spirits of the dead.
Then, they display the children and their games at UN Children's day ...
... and then they show more gatherings which they attended and tried to get their Ashrams in the "news" ... "any port in a storm" eh??
All in all ... the world is now safe (NOT) because the businessmen and developers are now religious and/or "spiritualist" and their carbon footprint for business is now compounded with their carbon footprint as they develop to find God, and achieve morality and ethics!!
They will now save the poor from poverty with "wishes", the sick with prayers, as Chari bad-mouths Bill Gates, and the Pope, and the minorities, and stop war, and violence, with "wishes" and by bad-mouthing other cultures, religions, nationalities, homosexuals, women, and those of "dark complexion" ...
SHAME ... SHAME... And some will let their photo be used to support such racism, sexism and intolerance for other's choices of life-style. All in the name of RELIGION and/or a minor and tribal male "god". The finger will point at you all when the next gay or lesbian is bullied, beaten and/or injured !!
Merry Christmas all you who support racists, and sexists ... all with no "Goodwill" towards your fellow humans !!

Maybe if "people" were more compassionate and more tolerant, and not like the "spiritualists and the religious", then there would be less violence and less wars!! And there would be less divisions among the followers of the various new religions and so-called "spiritual" movements.
Most, such as Sahaj Marg(tm) are really "spiritualism", with an anonymous French lady medium, egregores, and messages allegedly channeled from the spirits of the dead.
Then, they display the children and their games at UN Children's day ...
... and then they show more gatherings which they attended and tried to get their Ashrams in the "news" ... "any port in a storm" eh??
All in all ... the world is now safe (NOT) because the businessmen and developers are now religious and/or "spiritualist" and their carbon footprint for business is now compounded with their carbon footprint as they develop to find God, and achieve morality and ethics!!
They will now save the poor from poverty with "wishes", the sick with prayers, as Chari bad-mouths Bill Gates, and the Pope, and the minorities, and stop war, and violence, with "wishes" and by bad-mouthing other cultures, religions, nationalities, homosexuals, women, and those of "dark complexion" ...
SHAME ... SHAME... And some will let their photo be used to support such racism, sexism and intolerance for other's choices of life-style. All in the name of RELIGION and/or a minor and tribal male "god". The finger will point at you all when the next gay or lesbian is bullied, beaten and/or injured !!
Merry Christmas all you who support racists, and sexists ... all with no "Goodwill" towards your fellow humans !!

Sahaj Marg(tm), Moral Degradation And The UNDPI

Frank Waaldijk, a former Dutch Zonal-in-Charge, who resigned from Chari's group (SRCM California-1997), posted this comment, which follows the previous remarks by 4d-Don in October about Chari speech in which he speaks of homosexuality and AIDS. Here is his message, translated by myself. May he not find any insult on my part, I wish I could speak Dutch as fluently as he speaks French.

I saw that the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navanethem Pillay has recently published a speech in the Washington Post on "Homophobia, Violence and Intolerance" (see here: http://www.un.org/ecosocdev/geninfo/afrec/newrels/homophobia.html )
There, she says that it is the clear responsibility of authority figures to fight against discrimination towards gay people:
"But as important as decriminalization is, it is only a first step. We know from experience in those countries that have already removed criminal sanctions that greater, concerted efforts are needed to counter discrimination and homophobia, including both legislative and educational initiatives. Here again, we all have a role to play, particularly those in positions of authority and influence — including politicians, community leaders, teachers and journalists.
Sadly, too often those who should be exercising restraint or using their influence to promote tolerance do just the opposite, reinforcing popular prejudice."
Me, I don't understand how in the Ashrams, at Vraads Sande for example (European headquarter for SRCM (California-1997), located in Denmark) , they want to celebrate "Human Rights Day" (of the UN), when their Master states in his speech of Oct.12, 2010 (as Don has indicated) :
"...People like Bill Gates, he is willing to give billions, for AIDS. Even the pope, when Babuji Maharaj and I were [unintelligible] (in the Vatican) some years ago, said a special prayer for AIDS sufferers. This shows our moral degradation, you see. They don't want the tuberculotic patients, paralytic patients, heart patients..., the idea being that these people are rich enough to afford their own cure.
THAT is moral degradation, when a pope says [Chari chuckles] a special prayer [chuckles again].
So you see, it is from below to the top or the other way down ... when churches condone same-sex marriages, perform same-sex marriages. Soon a day will come when perhaps in ... or ... [unintelligible place names] (in Athens or in Barcelona, or something like that...) you'll find a man marrying a cow."
If Chari's fictional "a man" is gay or homosexual, he may want to marry a "bull" ... but Chari's whole premise is "bull-crap" ... to be gay or homosexual does not mean to be into "bestiality" ...
One can hardly call that "consentual sex". But again, Chari's whole premise is "bull-crap" anyway ... to be gay or homosexual does not mean to be into "bestiality" or any other deviancy. Why stop at a "cow"... why not a "key hole" or a "picnic table"?? Or the planet, like so many profiteering "businessmen"??

If Chari's homophobic Speeches are not "RECALLED" immediately (people are dying and are being beaten and tortured) ... then do the moral thing, think with your brain, dis-obey, and RESIGN your membership to this Group of "hate-mongers". Homosexuality, sex between consenting adults of the same gender, is not called "Bestiality"!! ... The Pope or Bill Gates are not "morally degraded" because of their acts or words mentionned above. What a fine example of tolerance Chari gives us. He advocates his so-called tolerance and love for others.
Here are some fine examples. As soon as he talks about religion or sexuality, no more rhetoric, his nature changes its spots. It is hatred that comes to live in his heart if indeed he has other things in his heart.
The true face of this man shows through so clearly.
I am shocked, outraged. Outraged to have one day dared follow that individual who can only speak with hatred about people which he simply does not understand.
Babuji, from the depths of his Brighter World, could perhaps explain what homosexuality is, and how to not be jealous of the Pope, or how to not have hatred for the forms of sexuality which make him so afraid.
To hear him, we could assume that the Pope is responsible for the day when a man marries a cow. This is a fine example of the amalgamation which he practices and which was denounced by Lea. (see earlier comments)
But this goes much further. By getting the abhyasis to laugh with him about these statements, Chari aligns himself and is now in the category of many other populist leaders, very fashionable in these times of general crisis.
Is spirituality homophobic and populist? Sahaj Marg (tm), and Chari certainly are.
Excuse my anger, but he has gone one step further into abjection.

Building on its success of last year, the SRCM(tm) renews its attempts to gain legitimacy by exploiting the UN Information Center, India (UNIC). On the occasion of the International Year of Youth, it is again holding an essay contest around the "formation of character" in Indian schools. At the same time, it seeks to increase the dissemination of its education program based on (spiritual?) values in schools (VBSE). Remember what this U.S. abhyasis (Shelly Gould Burgess) said last June:
“A few years ago when I first heard about the Mission’s observance of United Nations Days, I was confused. I admit it. I didn’t understand why we were doing them or what our involvement with the UN really meant. (…) In terms of benefits, these United Nations Days provide a fantastic way to reach out to our communities. Here in America our culture can tend to be suspicious of a spiritual organization that has a guru. However, the United Nations is generally considered a positive, upstanding global organization. When we reach out to our communities via our association with the United Nations, we may become a bit more legitimized in the eyes of a society that views the unfamiliar with apprehension. That’s a good thing in terms of opening people’s minds and hearts to the wonders of Sahaj Marg.”

The SRCM displays a great opportunism by exploiting some of the dispensary of UN programs, only to find some legitimacy.
Objective: To export the VBSE in Europe
The innovation of the year is the opening of the contest outside of India with the aim of better exporting the VBSE (Value Based Spiritual Education) to Europe and elsewhere. It's been two years since SMRTI (Sahaj Marg Research and Teaching Institute) officials have been trying to replicate the success of their Indian director, Kunchithapadam Seetha. The VBSE has now taken two directions depending on the age of their target audience: character formation for adults, and value-based education for children. In this spirit, a training program was developed by the team led by Elizabeth Denley for adults, and it is clear that training seminars have multiplied in Europe and at the Indian Crest. For children, the objective pursued by Trødni Tilde and Dominique Descartes is to propose activities based on values in the ashrams, during the group meditation of the adults or during the Indian celebrations to try their hand, then to offer them to schools when they are better understood.
Some examples of activities for children listed in Europe: farm tours, walks in the forest, treasure hunts, water or beach games, etc.. It is only to occupy the kids and to enable their parents to engage quietly in their spiritual activity. When one thinks that these actions should follow the LMOIS (Lalaji Memorial Omega Internation School) model, we can measure how the goal remains elusive for the moment.
Remember Chari's anger and the letter from his Augerans (old Peugeot castle, and ex-SRCM headquarters in Europe) manager to children. It was May 21, 1991, almost 20 years ago:
"(...) Good news for us all! The Master, our Chariji will be back soon (...) If he has placed us in penance (detention?) for Christmas, it was to force us to think and to understand that you can not come to the Augerans ashram as one goes on Holiday (...) You will then come to the ASHRAM to see the MASTER and to participate in a SPIRITUAL SEMINAR. "
Chari did not agree to be disturbed by noisy children and had put the abhyasis "in penance". This has not fixed itself with age. The Augerans manager wrote a very clumsy letter to the children to scold them, today they offer activities so as to channel them! The VBSE is not close to going into European schools with that ...
For now, these are just very clumsy attempts, and their success seems very uncertain, but suffice it for very little to transform these attempts. India is a good example ...

It seems that the Jehova's Witnesses who were members of the UNDPI (Department of Public Information) in 1991, have voluntarily withdrawn their membership. Here is the "JW's letter of resignation"... My! How "honourable"? ... I guess they won't be "legitimized" ... It now seems that the UN DPI is including "dictatoships", the corrupt and the opportunists who seek "legitimacy"!! Does that reflect on the "corruption" inside the UN itself?
We know of some European members of SRCM(tm) inside the UN ... If you write to the UN about the "Shri Ram Chandra Mission" (SRCM(California-1997), your letter could be "intercepted", so send it to the "Secretary General"... Let's see if that reaches those in charge of the UNDPI.
Membership to the United Nations is limited to "countries".
Membership to the UN DPI (Department of Public Information) are "non-profit societies" (with an "empowered" Board of Directors, or DEMOCRATIC), who want to promote the ideals of the UN ... not the opportunists who want to promote and legitimize themselves and their RELIGION and their Beliefs and philosphies (or lack of, as with Sahaj Marg(tm) under Chari), by exploiting the United Nations and their programs, for their nationalist and selfish goals (conquering the world) ...

Why SRCM (California-1997) Became Associated With The UN!
A Confession!
Since the accreditation of the SRCM with the UNDPI (United Nations Department of Public Information ... not the "UNITED NATIONS" as their material claims!!) in 2005, we highlighted the opportunistic nature of this "alliance" on numerous occasions. In our opinion, Chari tried to use the image of the United Nations for his own advantage, to draw some international legitimacy. It was (and still is) our opinion, but on what was it based? Nothing specific, except for a fairly long history of the habits and of the practices of Chari ...
Theatrical drama, today! It was enough to wait a little to get confirmation. The truth will eventually explode and come out. An American abhyasis is finally speaking out without holding back in Echoes of North America in June 2010 (pp. 10-11).
What does she say? What we have been arguing about, without any real evidence. She initially did not understand why the Shri Ram Chandra Mission was associating itself with the United Nations. Then she finally realized that it brought a legitimization of the Mission in the public's opinion. An opinion rendered suspicious by an organization that has a spiritual guru. So a real benefit in terms of image! In short, what is important is to clearly provide activity reports required by UNDPI.
There, I said it! There is nothing to add. Unfortunately, our conjectures were once again proven to be utterly accurate and just ...
Hopefully the UN will draw the appropriate conclusions. Too bad this great institution suffers from immobility.
Here is precisely what this American abhyasis writes about the involvement of the SRCM (California-1997) with the UN "Days". It sounds better when one reads it:

Should we also mention the alleged "take-over" of many Ashrams by mobs (Sister Kasturi, the only "Saint" in Sahaj marg according to Babuji, calls it "war" ?

The preceptors of Sahaj Marg are now as "evangelical" as the Jehova's Witnesses, and the Hare Krishna movement.
Leave the world at PEACE or create MORE PEACE ... don't just pray for PEACE and then serve the "gods of WAR" !!! That is the "hypocrisy" which is a by-product of the narcissistic addiction to THE OPIATES OF THE MASSES ... RELIGION !! You are not that different! Make peace in your own families!! March 21st was the United Nations International Day for the
Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Across North America,
abhyasis and friends came together at local prayer events to
commemorate the day with thoughtful discussions and
heartfelt prayers.

United Nations Days and SRCM – An Abhyasi’s Perspective

A few years ago when I first heard about the Mission’s
observance of United Nations Days, I was confused. I admit it.
I didn’t understand why we were doing them or what our
involvement with the UN really meant. I meditated over my
confusion, and, over time, a “big picture” emerged for me, and
it’s a very simple picture. Shri Ram Chandra Mission is
associated with the United Nations because Master saw fit to
create that official association. In order to maintain this
association, we must participate in some activities annually
that support the spirit of the United Nations charter.
The North American Mission participates in about a half dozen
UN Days annually. A committee selects these from about sixty
possible events. A center’s observance of these events can be
elaborate or simple, depending on what’s appropriate for the
center. Some centers have done fantastic, creative events
involving art, entertainment, food, and exercise in addition to
the Universal Prayer. Some centers simply meet and pray.
Regardless of the approach, what is important is that we
observe the events somehow and then report our activities to
our UN Days committee members. The UN, in order to
properly document SRCM’s participation in the event and our
association with them, require reports.
In terms of benefits, these United Nations Days provide a
fantastic way to reach out to our communities. Here in America
our culture can tend to be suspicious of a spiritual organization
that has a guru. However, the United Nations is generally
considered a positive, upstanding global organization.
When we reach out to our communities via our association with the

I also think that our association with the United Nations is an
encouraging sign that our Master thinks we are becoming
better tools for spiritual work. When Master re-introduced the
Universal Prayer in 1989, it showed that we were becoming
more capable of aiding in human evolution by participating in
selfless prayer. Now Master has given us this new opportunity
to conduct prayer events with larger communities, and I think
it is a wonderful vote of confidence that we are becoming
more effective tools.
Finally, I’d like to share an experience I had with conducting
an event on the United Nations Human Rights Day in
December of 2008. I organized the event at a school and was
excited for a big turnout. The hour of the event rolled around,
though, and my excitement diminished as, with each passing
minute, I began to realize that no one was coming. I decided
to pray on my own. What followed was nothing short of
remarkable. Of all the Universal Prayers I’ve prayed at 9 PM,
never before and never since, have I had such a profound
experience. I felt as if I heard a million voices praying with me.
It was incredibly deep. It was then that I realized no matter
how small or “unsuccessful” our attempts, the results are
beyond what we can truly know.

Ajay Kumar Bhatter RESIGNS As President-In-Waiting Of SRCM(California-1997) !!
You have probably heard: Ajay Kumar Bhatter, Chari's hand-picked successor, has apparently sent a letter of resignation to Chari, resigning his appointment by Chari as President-in-waiting of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM) and successor to Chari, the current President of SRCM (California-1997), registered in California, USA, and current Master of Sahaj Marg (tm) ...

SRCM(California-1997) currently seems to operate as a "dictatorship", or as a privately-owned business, foundation, or corporation.
This P.S. should also apply to federal, state or provincial regulators in the 92 countries where SRCM (California-1997) claims to do business (purchasing real-estate, selling products and services, collecting charity dollars and benefiting from "tax-exempt" status meant for Charities.

Chari's Master Stroke with the UNDPI!

Let us recognize it, once does not make a habit, but Chari has achieved a Master Stroke!
The annual Essay Competition of the "Annual All India Essay Writing Event" offered to youth in all schools in India to mark the International Day of Youth, August 12, 2009 is a great advertisement for the Shri Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM California-1997) .

This, that the SRCM describes in 3 competition categories by age of participants, from the youngest to the oldest: "Give Love Get Love", "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you", "Love has hope , Hatred is hopeless. "
The thoughts suggested by the SRCM to the competitors are: "How does peace and friendship in society benefit the individual? Can there be Irreconcilable differences if everyone accepted this? R. Ingersoll has said," Give to every other human being every right that you claim for yourself. "What do you think? Can Love be a potent instrument of reconciliation?"

We have often heard it said (by the representatives of developed countries (capitalist and democratic)) that the UN was "corrupt" ... The DPI appears to be as corrupt as the "mother" society. The UN has no credibility among my circle of friends.
We know that the Jehovah's Witnesses, were part of UNDPI and volontarily resigned. The UNDPI did not "show them the door".
Even knowing the views and teachings of the Jehovah's Witnesses in regards the UN ... and they were accepted (1992-2001) as "members of UNDPI"

If they can not even manage effectively the small "DPI" department, how will they manage the global world.

The representative of the SRCM (a gentleman named: Puul) who works at the United Nations has done his work and has infiltrated the UNDPI for the SRCM which is not democratic and does not promote the ideals of the UN . It seems that the UN does not even support its own criteria.
The rot is everywhere! All systems are under pressure, and become corrupt and break down because of entropy (the measure of disorder in a system)! ;-))
