If Chari, the Master of SRCM(California-1997) (or his entourage) is smelling something foul around himself, the probability is most strong that this foul smell comes from himself or from his slavish and obedient fans, who follow their "idol" to the point of not taking care of their own families, friends and/or society. They seem to gravitate towards the smell, not away from it. And that is because of Chari's gift to them of this cultish fear for the future, this apocalyptic "spiritualism" which Sahaj Marg has become. The foul smell of Fear attracts some and repels some.
Smell, like sound and light (including many chemical toxins, poisons, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, etc) ... reduce in intensity with distance. So practice "prudent avoidance". And my suggestion to all "spiritual" seekers, if your Master smells something foul around himself, it could be YOU!! Or it could be HIM and/or his corrupt organization, or it could be his fantasies (lies)!! It is not US or the rest of the REAL world, we are too distant from all of YOU! And we smell LIFE's nectar as sweet!!
But to blame this beautiful ONE-Created world for that very unspiritual manifestation expressed in Sahaj Marg(tm) is very ostrich-like. Sahaj Marg is in reality: Spiritualism. Take your heads out of the sand and read your Masters' negative complaint, then get up and go outside (out of the ashrams) and walk in the sunshine, in Nature, and away from the source of the corruption and the SMELL (prudently avoiding?) ... SRCM and Sahaj Marg(tm)... Now SIMPLY BE (spirit). Then, BEING inside the perfection, the nectar of CREATION which has all smells, don't blame the corruption displayed by yourself or by the "creatures" around you, on the CREATOR or on its NATURE or on the "distant" US. ... and the taste (and/or smell) of Life can be sweet again, "as rain upon your tongue". But you must have faith and believe! REALLY!
Is Sahaj Marg(tm), so deceived and deluded by its self-created spiritualist dictatorship? Does it constantly need a mirror? Or do the "adepts", the self-appointed "elite", simply want to negatively "point at others" and foolishly claim that to be "Spirituality"?? OK... who farted?

This Stinking Pool of Humanity
Excerpt from a speech by Chari entitled "Everything Depends on You," given in Chennai July 22, 2013 for Guru Purnima :

I told him," Babuji , I know from my personal experience of Sahaj Marg
that in the end I think you'll be the only person to enter the Brighter World
"- of the four or five thousand abhyasis at this time. He said : "Yes, this seems to be the case . Maybe there there will be two or three more." You know what he said? Himself and perhaps two or three more! (...) And then nothing happens. Gurus can come and go, India remains as it has remained, more and more corrupt, year after year. Just see the Indian scene today, what it is, it stinks [it stinks]. So what do we do about it? Do we at least see Sahaj Marg as a small group which would, if only a little,
be encouraging, comforting, and which would allow one to say, "Well, there is
this small nucleus of people who try seriously to get out of this mess, this stinking pool of humanity [this stinking pool of humanity], who want to evolve and come out. Again, as Babuji said , 'One, two, or three.' " (...) "

stinks, the world is a stinking pool of humanity, but fortunately there is Sahaj Marg and if you make an effort, perhaps you have the chance to be
part of two or three who will join the privileged Babuji in their Brighter World.
In
the absence of the Brighter World, the Christians have the promise of Heaven, but
they do not have the audacity to spit on this "stinking pool" which is
humanity as does Chari. No prejudice, he said; after having denigrated women, homosexuals and AIDS sufferers, Chari goes after the whole of humanity. What does that mean?
It was the subject of Chari's speech "Prejudice and Self- Judgement" for the New Year, 2013:
“(…) Even this morning I received
a message from my beloved Master, where he gives advice against prejudice,
which means prejudging, which we have no right to do. No human being has a
right to judge another human being. Even in the English language it is said,
“Judge not that ye be not judged.” There is this great warning to us: If you
judge, you will be judged. (…)”
Babuji said on January 1st, that a human being should not judge another human being. Is that why Chari goes after the entirety of mankind six months later? What contradictory messages!
It
is characteristic of sects, when they fail to become attractive enough,
there is nothing like trampling on others and denigrating the outside world.
All of Chari's speeches and messages from "Whispers" boil down to a rough and simplistic
idea that everything around you is Hell, it's better, much better in the mission,
and if you obey and serve Chari and the SRCM well, then maybe you can enter (their Brighter World) Heaven.
It is also characteristic of cults to offer a simplistic vision of the future world and alienate more and more the adepts.

This is what I wrote this summer:
Without failing to adhere to the SRCM system of meditation (Sahaj Marg(tm), the abhyasis want to believe that they are involved in shaping the future and will be the elite in that future. But even this is far from being a given, as Chari advises them July 22nd, in his speech titled: "It all depends on You" (on Guru Purnima Day). When the Mission had 4 to 5,000 abhyasis Babuji would (allegedly) have told him that only 2 or 3 abhyasis would accompany him into the Brighter World.
Must Chari be one of those 2 or 3 people? Nothing is less certain ...

Un-Sound Principles of SRCM (And Sahaj Marg)

I've received many enquiries from current and former disciples of SRCM
recently. Many agonize over their predicaments, questioning the
hierarchy or are simply spiritually unhappy. Some struggle with
difficult decisions to either join a splinter group or leave SRCM all
together. I have always offered to assist in what ever way I can, asking
nothing in return. I have found myself repeating a common theme in
most of these correspondences. As a result I have decided to summarize
some of my statements made privately below:
I believe that the practice of Sahaj Marg, and the entire system established by its Founder, to be based upon spiritually flawed and dangerous principles. Other than completely discarding the core principles and practices of the system, there is no possible outcome other than that which we see unfolding today.
More specifically:
1. The Prayer is comprised of affirmations which are spiritually harmful and are fundamentally un-natural. The prayer affirms that the one reciting the prayer is inadequate, having not achieved some unspecified but often mentioned Goal. This Goal, as the prayer states is only achievable through an elusive "Master".
2. Meditation on light or the form of the master in the heart puts the disciple at risk of letting external and potentially unwanted forces into their inner being. While the standard practice makes a vague suggestion to meditating on divine light in the heart, it is mentioned by preceptors and in the various literatures since the Founder's days, that meditating on a "true" masters form in the heart is "more effective".
4. The Spiritual Hierarchy established in SRCM encourages Spiritual Materialism. It commoditizes spiritual attainments, achievements and positions in the hierarchy. SRCM from its inception has created both organizational hierarchies and spiritual hierarchies which separate the haves and have nots. This further divides the "masses" from the chosen few in the inner circle.
Summary:
The very core practices of Sahaj Marg can be directly attributed as the ROOT CAUSE of the problems facing SRCM today: A highly divisive and divided organization caused by festering spiritual materialism, and disciples within the ranks who struggle with self esteem while being constantly reminded that their spiritual progress is inadequate, etc. etc...
On one hand, the Sahaj Marg practice, through repetitive suggestions in meditation and prayer affirmations, tears down the protective barriers around the soul, allowing the possibility of external forces to due harm. On the other hand, the one boundary which DOES get reinforced through disciples constant affirmations, is the barrier that separates the disciple from Creator. According to SRCM myth, this barrier exists until the disciple achieves some elusive goal. A goal only accessible through the exclusive association with a Master, who for the most part remains inaccessible from the common disciples.
The practice of Sahaj Marg this is in fact quite the opposite of a Natural Path. Quite frankly this is not spirituality at all. It is, however, a formula for creating a power based Cult - Which, by the way is exactly what SRCM and its various splinter groups are.
Of course, a privileged few see benefits, and some within the rank and file are able to skirt the hazards and avoid inflicting significant trauma upon themselves. Some find benefit from meditating on light in the heart. Some find a sense of belonging to something far more powerful than themselves. Most if not all are motivated by ego, remaining "slaves" of the wish to achieve the spiritual goal created by the SRCM founder. In addition, the SRCM hierarchy constantly reminds disciples that they are "not progressing" while channeling messages from the dead which serve only to validate their authority. These behaviors are the blatant symptoms resulting from the very flaws I have outlined above.
I apologize for offending so many with these words. What I state above comes from a sincere place, based on over 40 years actively pursuing my Spiritual Journey - more than 10 of those years as a disciple and preceptor of the SRCM. My heart affirms within me that what I say above is the TRUTH. The guidance I have been blessed with upon my departure from SRCM, now over 20 years ago, has revealed a true NATURAL PATH. I can say without a doubt that it bears nothing in common with the Sahaj Marg practice or the SRCM.

I believe that the practice of Sahaj Marg, and the entire system established by its Founder, to be based upon spiritually flawed and dangerous principles. Other than completely discarding the core principles and practices of the system, there is no possible outcome other than that which we see unfolding today.
More specifically:
1. The Prayer is comprised of affirmations which are spiritually harmful and are fundamentally un-natural. The prayer affirms that the one reciting the prayer is inadequate, having not achieved some unspecified but often mentioned Goal. This Goal, as the prayer states is only achievable through an elusive "Master".
- The prayer makes a dangerous affirmation of ones separateness from the Divine: While humility is essential in spirituality, this prayer affirms the disciple's spiritual inadequacy - claiming them to be "slaves of wishes putting bar to advancement". This affirmation is completely counter to spiritual principles which I have come to believe are core spiritual truths. True Spirituality re-affirms ones divinity in order to redirect any thoughts AWAY from spiritual inadequacy and separateness from Creator. The SRCM prayer is a series of affirmations which do the opposite!
- The statement "Thou are the only God and Power to bring us up to that stage" yet again affirms the disciple's spiritual inadequacy. It states ones dependence EXCLUSIVELY on another living human "Master" to reach some spiritual goal. It establishes a human authority with no peers, no checks and balances. This affirmation causes a disciple to question their own inner spiritual discrimination, and become completely dependent on a single and exclusive external force. This, in and of itself, puts the disciple at risk of ceasing their own spiritual Journey and giving their power needed for that journey to another person.
- The SRCM prayer, along with one of the accompanying 10 maxims, insists that the disciple urgently strive to reach some ultimate spiritual goal and "rest not until it has been achieved". This is completely counter to the ancient spiritual truth that, The Journey Is Infinite! This ancient spiritual truth states that the only true goal, is to embark on one's infinite spiritual journey, which can be done by anyone at any time. Likewise one can choose to dis-embark on their Infinite Spiritual Journey and seek a finite goal instead, however, in true Natural Spirituality, THERE IS NO GOAL, THERE IS ONLY THE JOURNEY!
2. Meditation on light or the form of the master in the heart puts the disciple at risk of letting external and potentially unwanted forces into their inner being. While the standard practice makes a vague suggestion to meditating on divine light in the heart, it is mentioned by preceptors and in the various literatures since the Founder's days, that meditating on a "true" masters form in the heart is "more effective".
- Heart meditation is powerful. Any intent, consistently established when doing heart meditation can result in its very manifestation if done repeatedly. Any intent that reinforces spiritual inadequacy will only be reinforced and can also be manifested within the disciple with repeated practice.
- Allowing external influences (light from outside oneself or the form of an external master) into the heart risks inviting in things that are possibly not compatible to ones very existence. It is critical, while on the Spiritual Journey that one establish and maintain protective boundaries. Heart meditation should affirm what is already in the heart, and not indiscriminately allow external and untrustworthy forces in. This damages one's essential spiritual boundaries which must be upheld in order to protect oneself from unwanted external forces. Damage to spiritual boundaries puts the disciple at risk of being spiritually traumatized by external spiritual influences and predators, of which there are many within the SRCM organization.
- While spiritual cleansing is a natural event that occurs in life, the daily reinforcing of ones "unclean-ness" risks the perpetuation of a disciples inner sense of inadequacy.
- This perpetuation of spiritual inadequacy is further complicated by the belief within the SRCM that one must rely on a preceptor or the "master" to do the real deep cleaning to remove long standing samskaras/grossness. This encourages the formation of a lasting barrier for the disciple's direct relationship with Creator and the natural "cleansing" that occurs from that direct relationship, not to mention making claim that the inner condition of the disciple is gross!
4. The Spiritual Hierarchy established in SRCM encourages Spiritual Materialism. It commoditizes spiritual attainments, achievements and positions in the hierarchy. SRCM from its inception has created both organizational hierarchies and spiritual hierarchies which separate the haves and have nots. This further divides the "masses" from the chosen few in the inner circle.
- Organizational Hierarchy members enjoy physical access to the "Master". Given that the practice reinforces ones dependence on the master, these members appear to the "masses" as having more advantageous access to spiritual benefits.
- SRCM identifies members who allegedly have achieved the Brahaman Mandal or Central Region. Some are referred to as "Full Preceptors", receive certificates to attest to their spiritual achievements, others are simply stated to exist in a higher "region" than the masses. Spirituality is further commoditized as disciples request "Sittings" from these preceptors in order to receive cleaning and have divine grace bestowed upon them.
- While the practice reinforces rank and file disciples inadequacies and creates urgent need to achieve spiritual progress, they are surrounded by members who have been "blessed" with organizational or spiritual gifts. This creates divisions, jealousies and commoditizes spirituality, exactly what we see happening in the various splinter groups and within the main SRCM organization today.

My Ex-Partner Meditates with Sahaj Marg (cont'd 2009 - 2012)

My Partner (companion) Meditates (With Sahaj Marg) Cont'd (2009-2012)
On August 25, 2009, Anonymous told us his story, a relationship of 10 years, marred by the intrusion of Chari and along with him, Sahaj Marg and SRCM. A companion whose parents are preceptors, and who begins to meditate five years after they met. At first, it does not appear to disturb the couple, but five years later:

"I feel the wind change and we are now 3 in our home, along with Chariji. Finally, this condition was firmly put to me. Long depressed, I think I now see clearly. Sahaj Marg is deeply against couples where one is not active or even a sympathizer. Initially, you are accepted because you have a potential to become abhyasis. Then the day you are certain of not sharing anything with this movement, things get complicated (...) ".

Hello to you,
I am the famous "anonymous" and I return to read your comments, soon to be 3 years after the fact. Thank you sincerely for your encouragement.
Shortly after the last message, I had the right to a bluff stroke, or rather an 'All In' type of poker play on her part. In summary, I could either accept a Sahaj Marg future for our children, or it was ended. On the other hand I satisfied her in all other aspects (How ironic). This lack of respect for my values and these earlier commitments thus lead to our immediate and brutal seperation.
When I brought her to her new home made of abhyasis, I found seven photos of Chari in the entrance hall ... of course I dare not mention the cult of personality!
When a few months later I met a new person (partner?) , my ex-girlfriend was trying to come back. But despite my refusal of a year earlier of the condition of Sahaj Marg, the previous year and the later years elapsed during which she claimed to have suffered from my absence, I realized she still had not even brushed upon the idea of leaving the movement.
Even her parents, preceptors, attempted to persuade me, arguing that a "seer (mystic? clarevoyant?)" saw us together. Worse, even Chari apparently had said to my ex that I was the man of her life.
I told her then that if Chari was directing her towards me and that I was telling her not to continue with SRCM, then maybe that this was the right way ... again, no sign of understanding.
In short, I'm happy now even though of course I'm sad for her. I have a companion with whom I think we are a duo, not a trio (as with the SRCM), doomed to failure and sadness.

This is a lesson for all those who make "enemies" of honest and truly spiritual people of INTEGRITY!! All those "GOOD PEOPLE" who reject "Spiritualism", (spirits, mediums, egregores, messages from the dead, etc...) and intolerance (homophobia, racism, etc...), in all its forms !!

I was shopping once in France, and they had these machines (totalling machines). But he totalled and made a mistake, and it was a big mistake. It was almost twenty per cent of the bill. Teach that to yourselves first!! ... the materialist adults who are the "inner circle" of SRCM(California-1997), are who are invading foreign commercial markets!! (Pharmaceuticals, denim jeans, etc...).

Sahaj Marg(tm), Religion and Spiritualism Divides; Spirituality Unites (maybe)?

"Religion divides, spirituality unites"?
Here are some excerpts from a speech of Chari entitled "Attach Yourself to the Heart", February 11, 2012 before the abhyasis gathered for an "International Scholarship Training Program":

All religions have the same God, yet there are religious wars. It is religion that opposes most men among themselves, says Chari; because religions have a pope, priests, temples, cults and dogmas. None of this exists in spirituality: Sahaj Marg, it is just meditation, Chari says in all seriousness.
Chari has a God, it is Babuji. Sahaj Marg has a pope, it is Chari. It has its priests, they are the preceptors (and prefects?). (And Sahaj Marg has "spiritual soldiers"... see here) SRCM has temples, these are the ashrams. Sahaj Marg has (or "is") a cult, it is the sadhana and its daily abhyas (practice) (prayer, meditation and cleaning, obedience, service, etc..). It has a dogma, obedience to the Master and service to the Mission.
The best evidence that Sahaj Marg has turned itself into a religious dogma, it is precisely this training undertaken by the abhyasis (International Scholarship Training Program). If it was just about meditation, they would have no need of such training.
The God of Chari, it is Babuji, and it is he who says it (see above for his own words). I can not believe that other religions share the same God with him. Besides, it is also Chari who opposes religions and spirituality, and turns his followers against religions.
Is he then trying to create a new war between religions?

Mounis has just react violently to the decryption (of Whispers) by Alexis. He / she must not be alone in this case, but is one of the few people to take the step, and leave a message.
I share the point of view of Alexis, but I'm willing to hear other arguments. I opened this debate exactly for that. It is unfortunate that the abhyasis do not participate more. I have always published their criticisms or attacks of any kind. In a real debate there always comes good things. The ball is in your court. Speak up, you will be published and we will discuss.

Man (kind) has lost its mind
It is amusing to note that Whispers says that man(kind) has lost its mind, when Chari, on the other hand, repeats that we have to stop thinking and open our hearts. To remain in the sphere of the mind is to deny the spirituality that is the voice of the heart ...
In popular parlance, the heart, it is the emotions, the head is the reason. And Whispers tells us that things are not right because man has lost his mind. Like love, the lower instincts, such as hatred, revenge, etc.. are indeed emotions, (said to be) emanations of the heart. There are some positive, others negative. But Chari never said one had to listen only to the positive emotions from one's heart, he said one must listen to his heart, that's it!
Man has (those who have) listened to his heart, and he has lost his mind but so far, has not gained spirituality. And nothing works, we must change everything. Mankind must find reason again, then reconnect with the sphere of the mind. But it must also grow spiritually. So how?
One more contradiction, understand who can, and this is not the last ...
Danger, the punishment is coming!
Whispers exploits fears. Since the end of the glorious 30's and the first oil crisis, our world is going from crisis to crisis. The year 2011 is the year of disasters: climate, nuclear, economic, financial and social, etc.. The world is in permanent crisis. And Whispers benefits by surfing the wave of ambiant decline. We are not very far from the Apocalypse any more. (I will return) ...
Man will have to pay for his mistakes, it is the divine punishment. One is close to the Judeo-Christian imagination when, irritated by humans, God unleashed the flood.
Would "Whispers" want to make us believe in the vengeance of a cruel God? And that the SRCM will be Noah's Ark?

Disasters or Apocalypse?
All components of the Apocalypse are present, but the word is never uttered. Whispers prefers a new era of cataclysms. From one "whisper" to the other, the causes go from climate change to nuclear and vice versa. For nuclear, human responsibility is obvious, but the climate is much less clear. It does not help the discourse, which is bent on blaming mankind.
Whispers hesitates between nuclear disaster and climate disruption
In another life, Babuji was already announcing that the heat of the sun was dropping, the gulf stream would be diverted, that volcanoes would produce toxic gases for humanity and that the UK would sink into the ocean, etc.. It was already reality at dawn, (From "Reality At Dawn", Babuji's book) in the early 50's!
It is difficult in these conditions to completely replace the unsettled climate with a nuclear catastrophe today, without completely disavowing Babuji ...
Divine punishment or human responsibility?
SRCM, (or its adherents) which denies being a religion, borrows all the codes: the world is evil, punishment, and the Apocalypse is coming, SRCM is the solution, that is, the solution for an elite (discussed later).
There remains the problem of human responsibility. Very present at the beginning (of Sahaj Marg), it then disappears into the nature of the Apocalypse. It is therefore a divine punishment which is in question.
So who are we then to worship a God who judges us and who then administers the punishment?

Let us first examine the language: a new race, an elite of souls which will regenerate humanity. The words of "Whispers" have terrible connotations. They remind one of the dark days of racialism and eugenics that raged in the late 19th and first half of the 20th century.
This is far from trivial, because it would have been just as possible to say that mankind had not completed its evolution, that it was at work right now, with the development of new spiritual abilities. This is what the people of Sahaj Marg have already qualified themselves as an involutive evolution towards invertendo or the state of the "transpersonal".
But now, instead of using the scientific language of the theory of evolution or the language of the current transpersonal psychology, Whispers revives eugenics.
A Judeo-Christian Babuji

But then, what about the chosen generation, our "indigo" children? Are they the aliens of which he speaks? Are we already invaded by little green men? Would these invaders be our own indigo children? Or are they collaborators of these invaders? Is this the beginning of the War of the Worlds?

The New World

It's a little light! The imagination of our dear medium leaves much to be desired. It is never as good as when it comes to criticizing our world of today. But when it comes to speaking of the future world, it is of minimum service: it will be different, incomprehensible ... but it will correspond to "set standards". Phew, we are assured! But what are these standards? Mystery ...

"A new cycle begins with this century. In a quarter century, the earth will experience great turmoil. " Thus, according to Whispers, the 21st century marks the beginning of the process "punishment-Apocalypse-New World". In 25 years, the turmoil at the beginning of the Apocalypse?

This does not change my overall impression, but it has all the elements husked one after the other and text analysis shows each time a little more the importance of brainwashing is to work with this book at the moment. It's appalling.
