Hyderabad, Future Capital of Sahaj Marg?

Translation of an article by Alexis: "Hyderabad, Capitale Future du Sahaj Marg?", on Elodie's blog in Europe: Pour Que Vive Le Sahaj Marg.

Hyderabad, Future Capital of Sahaj Marg?
A new article by Alexis: Codenamed "Kanha Shantivanam"

Under the code name Shanti Vanam Kanha (Kanha = Lord Krishna, Shanti = Tranquility, Vanam = Forest), one finds four charitable organizations (section 25 Societies) with very similar names, each led by different trios, but all located in or near Hyderabad: Kanha Shanti Vanam (KSV), created November 10, 2009, Yashoda Kanha Shanti Vanam (YKSV) and Radha Kanha Shanti Vanam (RKSV) both created February 10, 2010 and finally Devaki Kanha Shanti Vanam (DKSV) established March 12, 2010.

VS Mallick, co-director of KSV, who calls himself a preceptor of SRCM, is director of the charity project KSV since July 2008, the creator of a huge campus of about 500 acres (200 ha) around an Ashram and a colony for members of the Ashram which surrounds it.   Ulhas Rao Kumble, another co-director, is the Zone-in-Charge of the SRCM Hyderabad metropolis.

Information closer to what could be read on a real estate website: In the suburbs of Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh) SRCM has 300 ha (750 acres) Thimmapur, 20 km south of the Rajiv Gandhi international airport of Shamshabad on the Bangalore National Highway NH7.

RKSV and YKSV are created on the same day, one on the campus of SRCM Tumukunta (Zonal ashram) at Shamirpet in Ranga Reddy district, the other at 36 Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad. A month later the fourth and last is at 66 Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad still. One of its directors is none other than Madhu Kothapalli.

Of the 12 leaders of the four charitable organizations, many are important entrepreneurs. Anantha Kumar Dommety runs Trans-Domain Solutions since July 2002 (
http://www.transdomain.com). Siva Rama Vadlamani Mallick (Mallick VS) heads Intense Technologies since August 2009 (http://www.in10stech.com). Rajasekhar directs Kotagiri Nano Natrium Hydrogen Power (NNHP) since March 2013 and Madusudanarao Kothapalli directs Leiutis and other leading pharmaceutical companies, as we have already said (http://www.leiutis.com). Three of these companies are present in both India and the United States.

Chari's “Kanha Shanti Vanam” Project:

November 2010: “On arrival at the Hyderabad International Airport on the 11th morning, Master proceeded to the site of Kanha Shanti Vanam project, about 20 km. away. He appeared tired but cheerful as he walked into the small but beautiful cottage built under and around a tree.” (Echoes of India, January 2011)

August 2011: “On arrival Master proceeded to Gachibowli to carry out the registration formalities for the Kanha Shanti Vanam project. (…) On 19th August, after morning satsangh, Master met the Kanha project team and reviewed the  documentation. (…) On 20th August after breakfast, Master left for Kanha Shanti Vanam. The land has been cleared, fenced and papaya, maize and paddy have been planted. A small cottage has been built around a tree. Master sat outside and reviewed a sketch of the land. Master conducted the first satsangh at the site and also permitted the holding of regular Sunday satsangh henceforth. He went around the property and appreciated the way it was being maintained. He then returned to Br. Madhu Kothapalli's residence for lunch and rest.” (Echoes of India, November 2011)

June-July 2012: "He had planned to visit Hyderabad as the Kanha project was going very well and he wanted to do the registration work himself. (…) As he could not go to Hyderabad, he had invited the volunteers of the Kanha project to Gayatri on June 6th and had a long meeting with them and then gave them all gifts and congratulated them for making this project successful.” (Echoes Oceania, July 2012)

June-July 2013: “Master has been taking a keen interest in the land records relating to the Brahmand and Kanha projects as a result of which a new energy seems to have come into this effort. (…) A large scale model of Kanha Shanti Vanam was brought by the Hyderabad team and Master looked at it in great detail. He was impressed with the model and proudly called many abhyasis to see it and explained the various features to them.” (Echoes of India, September 2013)

So here we are plunged into the heart of one of Chari's colonial project of enclaves and living spaces. It seems that the first of them (projects)  relates to Hyderabad and the surrounding areas in Andhra Pradesh, to the point that the Babuji of Whispers announced that SRCM will be headquartered in Hyderabad in the future.

Whispers of a Babuji dated September 9, 2014 at 10: o'clock "(...) This Mecca in the Making of the future Mission (in Hyderabad) will have a special place, it will become the flagship, the drawing point of this mission in perfect connection with all other centers of the mission in this world. (...) "

SRCM has transformed itself into a  land and real estate agency.  The principle is simple: Real Estate Committees seek out real estate bargains and the legal and fiscal arrangements best suited. Then they create private companies who buy the land and then sell parcels of the colony to Abhyasis to cover the land acquisition, construction of an ashram, a cottage for the master or potential profits.

Under the code name "Kanha Shanti Vanam" in Hyderabad, no less than four so-called "charitable" organizations were set up to manage the project of living space, with 12 directors, including many investors and entrepreneurs ...

Sahaj Marg is Responsible for the Apocalypse it Announces

Translation of an article by Elodie: "Le Sahaj Marg Responsable de l'Apocalypse Qu'il Annonce",  on her blog in Europe: Pour Que Vive Le Sahaj Marg.

Sahaj Marg, Responsible for the Apocalypse it Announces

The Whispers of Babuji keep repeating that mankind will soon hit the wall and is headed for disaster. The Whispers do not give in half measures, but the Whispers never explain what is going wrong. One thing is certain: everything is (allegedly) rotten, salvation will come after the disaster, thanks to Sahaj Marg and only its abhyasis will be saved.

But when we see, as is shown by the latest comments from Anonymous, to what extent some responsible for the SRCM are involved in today's society, it raises questions about what may distinguish them from the ordinary mortals.

The bosses of Sahaj Marg are fully invested into the sphere of modern capitalism in all its components: individualism and frantic competition, the race to profit, short-term vision, etc.

In the new technologies (Madhava Reddy, Shiv Kaushik, Sanjay Sehgal ...), in the pharmaceuticals industry (Madhu Kothapalli, Kamlesh Patel, ...), in textile manufacturing (Ajay Kumar Bhatter, Chari...), even to the most savage capitalism (the kleptocratic Ilya Kazmaly), etc.

How is their behavior different from the rest of humanity? This humanity which runs headlong towards its doom?

They seem perfectly integrated in this world which Babuji (in his "whispers", as channeled by the Anonymous French Lady Medium?) criticizes so, and perhaps even a little more than the average. In any case, Chari's example shows that he took full advantage of the system he claims to abhor, for the benefit of the SRCM.

Foreign Donation ... Let's Talk Money

An update article by Alexis Jan. 12, 2014

In 1976, so as to control NGO (Non-Government Organizations) funds coming from abroad, the Indian government put in place the "Foreign Contribution Regulation Act" (FCRA) to avoid the excessive "... influence of the foreign hand" on the policy and the public projects of India.  Each year, the Department of Indian Affairs publishes a list of the NGOs in the country. For those who exceed ten million rupees in revenue from abroad, it also publishes the names of donors and the amount of their "foreign contribution", as well as the total amount of expenditures made by the NGO (see http://mha.nic.in/fcra.htm ).

To see List of Foreign Donors (with dates and amounts):

*Click on FCRA link.
*Under: "Foreigner's Division" (Yellow tab on left),  scroll down and click on: "Associations that received over one crore rupees in a financial year".
*Select year, and then Select State and click on "Get Records":  (The Foundation (SMSF) is in Tamil Nadu, and the Society (SRCM) is in Uttar Pradesh).
*Click on the society (SRCM) or the Foundations (SMSF, LMES, BVET, etc...) to see the lists of donors.
* Click on  "Find" (Look under "Edit" in your browser) to find the info on a donor inside the document.  Enter the "search words" in the box which opens up at the bottom of the page.

Regarding Chari's Sahaj Marg(tm), the Indian SMSF, SRCM, LMES (Lalaji Memorial Education Society), and  BVET (Chari Foundation: Baal Vatika Education Trust)  are duly recorded  (RCN respective Registration Numbers: TN 075900957R, UP 136700005R, TN 075901050R and TN 075901033R). The SMSF and the SRCM blithely exceed the threshold, and their accounts are available for the years 2006 to 2011.  The LMES appears in 2006, 2008 and 2009. The BVET does not reach this threshold during this period ...

Let us recall and understand that Chari's school  (Lalaji Memorial Omega International School or LMOIS) is controlled and funded by two societies: LMES (Lalaji Memorial Educational Society) and the BVET. (Chari's Baal Vatika Educational Trust).  (Baal = Master or Lord ?, Vatika = Hermitage (note "Vatican" roots)

Foreign Contributions

According to the FCRA, donations from abroad (Foreign contributions, from all countries excluding India) SRCM and the Indian SMSF together, accumulated over 7 years ( 04/01/2006 to 31/03/2013 ), totalled more than 31 million. The amount of foreign capital of these two organizations has increased by a multiple of almost 3, from nearly 19 million to more than $53 million over the same period. The amount of accumulated vested interests exceeds 18 million, or 58% of the amount of donations and 34 % of the current capital. Cumulative expenditures are less than 16 million.

The "corpus fund" Mission established by Chari has far exceeded its goal. If donations stopped abruptly tomorrow, capital would continue to grow without Chari having to cut corners. The financial autonomy of the Mission of Chari and his successors is already reached!  This does not stop Chari from encouraging more donations from his members to the foundations of Sahaj Marg ...

Who funds the Mission?

Chari's financial appetite is limitless.  And this calls into question the independence of the Mission already reached.  Indeed, four donors are responsible for more than half of the 7-year cumulative donations, nearly $17 million.  Each of them gave more than $ 2 million to the Mission in 7 years, while the fifth most important donor donated less than $300 thousand.

Their potential influence is huge! Chari used "kid gloves" with them. It is therefore not surprising that one of them is his designated successor, another has his own cottage (just like Chari) in the womb of  Babuji Memorial ashram ...

If we put aside the 4 larger donors, of the $15 million remaining, 38% comes from North America, 23% from Western Europe and 8% from Asia (excluding India). The most important donor countries are the USA 36%, France for a little more than 8 %, Switzerland for almost 8% and 3% for the United Arab Emirates.

The top 50 largest donors (excluding the four largest) has contributed more than $ 2.5 million, 35 of them are Indian, 25 are of Indo-American origin. Most are at the head of start-ups in computer hardware or software, or in the production of generic drugs.

But Then, Who Therefore Owns the Mission?
Do you want the answer ?

Number 1: Ilya Mikhailovich Kazmaly paid $10.3 million in 7 years, 33% of foreign donations made to the Mission and its SMSF foundation under the FCRA, in his own name or that of his wife and an offshore company called Mentor Financial Ltd.

Gagauz of  Russian origin, born April 7, 1962, Kazmaly worked as an officer of the Soviet intelligence services before co-founding the Sheriff group in 1993, the first company in Moldova. Elected to the Supreme Soviet of the country in 2005, he has long been a principal supporter of President Smirnov. To learn more, read [ Sahaj Marg's Gift of $10 million dollars  or  Sahaj Marg(tm), Let's Talk Money] .

Number 2: Madhava Reddy supports U.S. Republicans but even more the SRCM. Personally, through the Lachimi Foundation or through its start-up HTC Global Services, has paid $ 6.5 million in 7 years according to the FCRA , 21 % of foreign donations made to the Mission and its foundation SMSF .

This accountant is the founding CEO in 1992 Hi Tech Consultant Global Services Inc in Troy, Michigan (www.htcinc.com). According to The Hindu Business Line, dated March 8, 2012, the computer technology and solutions company employs 4,000 people and exudes an income of about $160 million. It is also present in India (at Chennai and Hyderabad), Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore and the United Kingdom. Also, two of its vice- presidents both paid 3 million rupees to the Mission and its foundation for the same period.  Incidentally, Reddy is also a member of the Board of Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories Ltd. (www.caraco.com), a subsidiary of the Sunpharma group.

In 1999, Madhava Reddy created the Lachimi Foundation to implement the bulk of his donations to the Mission without having to pay taxes.  Between 1999 and 2011, the accounts of the Lachimi Foundation shows payments totaling more than $12 million.

Chari has long resided in the cottage of this preceptor of Sahaj Marg and a member of the Board of Directors of the SRCM in the U.S., according to Echoes of India, November 2012.

Number 3: Madhusudanarao Kothapalli donated $2.5 million for the same period in the Mission and its foundation under the FCRA, or 8% of all foreign donations, personally or through his foundation. Originally from Hyderabad in Andrah Pradesh, the Indo-US emigrant co-founded the CorePharma LLC in 1998 in New Jersey (www.corepharma.com).  In 2005, he sold his shares in the company to RoundTable Healthcare Partners LLP, created the Aravind Foundation and paid $5 million through the foundation: 1 million to the SRCM and another to Baal Vatika Educational Society (the future LMES) in 2005, $3 million to the SMSF in 2006 ... and again $28,000 to the SRCM in 2009.

In 2011, Madhu Kothapalli founded another company's R & D generic drugs at his home in Hyderabad (www.Leiutis.com) . Chari is in the habit of inviting himself into the residence of this preceptor when staying in Hyderabad.

Number 4: Kamlesh Patel Desaibhai, vice president and designated successor of Chari, paid $2.1 million under the FCRA personally or through his family and network of pharmacies, or more than 7% of all foreign donations. Two of his colleagues and friends pharmacists from New York also paid them more than 5 million rupees, but I did not find any evidence that they work for him ...

To learn more, read (in French... translate with "Google Translate")  [The Brooklyn Pharmacist].

The Money of the Mission

According to the FCRA numbers of 2006 and 2012, taking into account only the money from abroad, the Mission and its Indian Foundation therefore shared an average annual turnover of more than $7 million and a capital more than $53 million.

What about the money from the sale of publications and membership fees, when you know that a few years ago, the donations did not represent more than one third of the resources of the Mission?

What about the additional Indian share, when we know that the bulk of the strength of the Mission is Indian?

What about other foundations in Switzerland, the United States, Dubai or Hong Kong?

What about the other national SRCM associations?

Sahaj Marg(tm) Let's Talk Money!

Taken and translated from an article by Alexis: "Et si on parlait d'argent", on his blog in Europe: "La Fabuleuse Épopée du Sahaj Marg"

Let's talk money ...

For those who exceed ten million rupees in revenue from abroad, it also publishes the names of donors and the amount of their "foreign contribution", as well as the total amount of expenditures made by the NGO ( see http://mha.nic.in/fcra.htm ).

*Click on the society (SRCM) or the Foundaitons (SMSF, LMES, BVET, etc...) to see the lists of donors.

According to the FCRA, revenues from India and abroad for the  SRCM and  SMSF combined , accumulated over 6 years (01/04/2006 to 31/03/2012) reached almost 2 billion rupees (28 million euros or $ 35 million U.S. dollars).   It is composed of half from donations, half from the interest earned on the financial assets or capital gains over time.

Expenses represent 40% of revenues and are widely covered by the interest on investments.  In fact, the latter are strong and are steadily increasing (multiplied by 16 time in 6 years): 31 million rupees in 2006 to 521 million rupees in 2011 (7.4 million Euros  or  $ 9.5 million dollars ). Consequence: with benefits (donations minus expenses), interest has allowed the financial capital to be multiplied by 2 in 7 years, from one billion rupees in April 1, 2006 to 2.2 billion rupees as of  March 31, 2012 (31 million  €  or $40 million dollars).

What is the difference between the Mission and the Foundation?

Their respective turnovers are relatively close from 58% for the Mission and 42% for the Foundation. But then, 64% of the donations are made to the Foundation, while 65% of the interest is produced by the Mission, which spends more than 3 quarters of its revenues, where the Foundation is confined to just over 10% ...

The Mission's capital is hence much greater than its Foundation! This is not  surprising, it benefits from its anteriority (grandfather clause) ... Otherwise, the picture drawn by these accounting items is nothing close to what Chari assigns as their respective objectives today, the Mission is responsible for the daily expenses, living on the interests from its capital; the donations are mostly managed by the Foundation which invests it, notably in real estate (over a quarter goes to  LMOIS for example) or 4.6 million Euros, $ 5.8 million dollars).

Where it diverges somewhat from the announced statements is that the Foundation spends very little in proportion to the capital gains and the increase (360% increase in capital over the period, against 120% for the Mission over the same period). Finally, the Mission does not need anything to meet its expenses since it survives very comfortably on the interest from its capital.

Contributions (membership fees), donation and profits from the sales of publications are no longer needed neither by the Mission nor the Foundation! So what projects do Chari and Patel have in the works to continue to squeeze the abhyasis?

Who funds the Mission?

The Indian SRCM and SMSF therefore received 1,012,703,272 rupees in donations from abroad in 6 years, 14.5 million Euros or $ 18.4 million dollars. They come in at 76% from North America, 15% from Western Europe, 5% from Asia (excluding India), 1.5% from Eastern Europe, 1% from Oceania,  0.7%  from Africa, and 0.1% from Latin America. Countries which are the largest donors are 73% from the United States, France donates at 5%,  and 5% and 2% come from Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.

Of all these donations, 17% are anonymous thus transiting through the missions or national foundations, and only their country of origin is known, but we know the donor's name for the 83% remaining. There are 280 who  have given more than 100,000 rupees at least once in 6 years, they account for 72% of all donations.

The top 50 largest donors account for 62% of all donations, 34 of them are of Indian origin, specifically 31 are Indo-American.   Most are at the head of start-ups in the computer hardware or software, or they are in the production of generic drugs. They are indeed the new Indian middle class, a generation of expatriates uprooted and torn between their origins and modernity.

The first three of them have contributed more than half of the donations (more than 400,000 per donor per year), the following 47 more than 10% (5,924 euros per donor per year), and the 230 others also 10%  (931 euros per donor per year).

But then, who owns the Mission?

You want the answer?

Number 1: Madhava Reddy supports the U.S. Republicans (political party) but much more the SRCM. Personally, or through the Lachimi Foundation or through his start-up HTC Global Services, he paid almost 266 million rupees (3.8 million Euros or $ 4.8 million dollars) in 6 years according to the FCRA, or more than a quarter of the foreign donations made to the Mission and to its SMSF Foundation.

This expert accountant is the CEO and founder in 1992 of the Global Hi Tech Consultant Services Inc. of Troy, Michigan (www.htcinc.com).  According to The Hindu Business Line dated March 8, 2012, the company for computer and  technology solutions employs 4,000 people and generates revenues of about $ 160 million.  It is also present in India, (in Chennai and Hyderabad), in Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore and the United Kingdom. Two of its vice-presidents also donated to the Mission (SRCM) and its foundation (SMSF) 3 million rupees between them in the same time period . Incidentally, Reddy is also a member of the Board of Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories Ltd. (www.caraco.com), a subsidiary of SunPharma.

In 1999, Madhava Reddy created the Lachimi Foundation to manage most of his donations to the Mission without having to pay fiscal taxes.  Between 1999 and 2010, the accounts of the Lachimi Foundation show payments totaling more than $ 10 million dollars.

Chari currently resides in the cottage (within the confines of Babuji Memorial Ashram) of this preceptor of Sahaj Marg, who is also a member of the Board of Directors of the SRCM in the U.S., according to Echoes of India in November 2012.

Number 2: Madhusudanarao Kothapalli paid more than 137 million rupees ($ 2 million Euros or $ 2.6 million dollars) to the Mission and its foundation over the same period according to the FCRA, or nearly 14% of all foreign donations.

Originally from Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh, the Indo-American immigrant co-founded in 1998 CorePharma LLC in New Jersey (www.corepharma.com).

In 2005 he resold his shares in the company to the RoundTable Healthcare Partners LLP, created the Aravind Foundation and donated $ 5 million through this foundation: 1 million to the SRCM and another million to the Baal Vatika Educational Society (BVET- the future LMES) in 2005, $ 3 million to the SMSF in 2006 ... and again 28,000 dollars to SRCM in 2009.

In 2011, Madhu Kothapalli founded another R&D generic drugs company in his hometown of Hyderabad, India
(www.leiutis.com/).  Chari is in the habit of inviting himself to the residence of this preceptor when staying in Hyderabad.

Number 3: Our beloved Vice President and successor to Chari, Kamlesh Desaibhai Patel, whose birthday was last September 28th,  paid personally or through his family and his network of pharmacies, to the Mission and its Foundation, over 108 million rupees (1.5 million Euros or $ 2 million dollars), still in the same time period, according to the FCRA, or more than 10% of all foreign donations.  Two of his colleagues and friends, pharmacists from New York  have also paid between them, more than 5 million rupees, but I did not find any evidence that they work for him.

I will not return to the background of the next master of the SRCM which was already somewhat documented. The question I ask myself is one about what comes first, the egg or the hen: Patel will succeed Chari because he has paid for his place or is it because he was chosen by Chari that he pays? Knowing he was already paying when Ajay Kumar Bhatter was supposed to succeed Chari.  Besides, how much had Ajay (Kumar Bhatter) paid?  I did not have the answer because he is Indian and therefore he is not recognized in the foreign donors list!  What a Shame ...
