The HISTORIES of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission The latest events related to the property of "srcmshahjahanpur.org.in" inspired the following comments from Alexis:
The Pot-holes of History Saturday, January 12, 2008, the domain name 'srcmshahjahanpur.org.in has changed hands. Navneet Kumar Saxena, grandson of Babuji, yielded it to the SRCM ® Chari following a decision of the Arbitration Commission of India in July 2007. One can recall that the previous arbitration, which had opposed the father of Navneet (Umesh) to Chari in the USA has resulted in a different decision with regard to the domain name 'sahajmarg.org' in April 2000…
Beyond Chari's victory in this final battle between the two clans, which is probably not the last, two documents provide us with some interesting information on the position of Chari's clan, where we had before that the sole point of view of the descendants of Babuji. Indeed, Don found on the NET the decision of the Arbitration Commission and a letter from US Bajpai, Assistant Secretary of the Mission Chari.
These documents are available from the links below:

Writ petition from US Bajpai --
Decision of the arbitration commissionOverall, one learns nothing new as regards to the version of Navneet Kumar Saxena. On the other hand, this is the first time one reaches the side of the story according to Chari, or at least Uma Shankar Bajpai, a member of his clan. Still, the typographical errors, especially with regard to the names and dates, significantly impede the understanding of the document.
According to US Bajpai, the founder and president of SRCM, Babuji, appointed Chari to succeed him after his death. The latter has effectively assumed the office of President on April 19, 1983. At meetings of the Working Committee which took place on July 10, October 23 and December 27, 2003, the claims of Chari and Sharad Saxena, son of Babuji, were discussed. They (allegedly) confirmed the validity of Babuji's appointment of Chari made March 23, 1974.
On March 20, 1984, Umesh Chandra Saxena and his brothers formed a false committee where SP Srivastava was appointed chairman. This has opened the judicial hostility between the two factions. And so it was that at least 22 court decisions have been made in this case. They spread over a period between 1985 and 2006, and provide all rights to Chari.
The presidency of the SRCM society was renewed on October 10, 1985 for a period of five years, as well as in 1990. At that time, SP Srivastava, chairman, accompanied by BD Mahajan, secretary, have therefore opposed in court Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari, president and SA Sarnad, secretary.
Then, Umesh Chandra Saxena himself claims the presidency against Chari. After his death, his son Navneet tried to have himself registered but his requests were denied in 2004. For Chari's clan, the death of Umesh Chandra Saxena definitively closes the case. On 10 October 2005, Chari is president and US Bajpai, is secretary according to the records made in Bareilly.
Finally, the SRCM has registered the word "SRCM" in its trademarks and services in India since 1999, and also in the United States.

Elodie said: We are now faced with two interpretations of history with a big "H". The judicial events between these two factions for over 20 years are gradually emerging from the shadows, but there's nothing to help us distinguish between the truth from the falsehood, nor to even draw a comprehensive list of the judgments. Those who hold elements of clarification are welcome to bring them forward. In absolute terms, we should be able to consider every piece of this large file in chronological order.
If we try to take a bit of distance and remain objective, it is clear that the death of Babuji triggered a war between two factions for the sole purpose of taking the presidency of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission. Once Sharad Saxena had been definitively ruled out of the race in 1983, Srivastava and Chariji seem to have held both the presidency simultaneously, each staying within their own quarters between 1984 and 1990. How is this possible?
Around 1990, Umesh Chandra Saxena suddenly wanted to resume the head of the society after the departure of Srivastava, opening up anew some legal hostilities. Only then, it seems, has he produced his letter of appointment, claiming Chari's letter of succession to be false and laid charges of various attempts of poisoning. Why so late?
On the Chariji faction side, the death of UC Saxena in 2003 marks the end of more than a decade of legal battles. Navneet Kumar Saxena has no legitimacy in their eyes, unlike his father. Would justice then have given reason to UC Saxena?
In this context, the ceremonies of the 81st anniversary of Chariji scheduled in Lucknow in July 2008, is the mark of the final and absolute victory of the Chariji faction over the descendants of Babuji. This is the culmination of a re-conquest of Sahaj Marg in India.
Thus, since 1983, Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari conquered the ashrams of Hyderabad and Chennai. In 1984-85, it is the turn of the ashrams of Visakhapatnam, Nellore and Vadodara. In 1991, it is the ashrams of Delhi and Moradabad. In 2006, it is Raichur, after the death of Raghavendra Rao.
Meanwhile, the ashram of Shahjahanpur has been the subject of numerous take-over attempts by the faction of Chari: 1988, 1997 and in 2003 after the death of UC Saxena to finally fall into their hands in November 2006. Navneet Kumar Saxena creates its website in February 2007, but the Chariji faction succeeds in gaining ownership in July (hence the silence of Navneet Kumar since last summer, probably). Chari finally travels to Shahjahanpur in October 2007. The website of NK Saxena disappeared Jan. 12, 2008.
Chariji thus could celebrate his victory in July.

PS: What to say and what to think of a spiritual organization (SRCM) and a teacher (Babuji) whose main disciples and descendants are opposed in court for so long? How is it possible that Babuji has not delivered human values to his children and disciples? Should Spirituality make us forget the most basic values of society?
Clearly, if the record of the spiritual life of Babuji is enormous, the record of his life in society is lamentable.
Dear Readers
As far as the website of the SRCM, Shajahanpur, UP group is conerned, (SRCMShahjahanpur.org.in ) Mr.Chari and his worthy associates have shown their might and money power. Actually, they were nervous to see various facts/documentary evidences against Mr. Chari, they adopted all means to block the website of the SRCM, Shajahanpur, UP group and temporarily they are successful. Things happend like this :
(1)Mr.Chari and his worthy associates made complaints to M/s NIXI (National Internet Exchange of India) that the website of the SRCM, Shajahanpur, UP group is illegal.
(2)M/s NIXI appointed arbitrator for the case without even informing the SRCM, Shajahanpur group, which is against the Indian Arbitration & Conciliation Act2
1996. As per the act, arbitrator is to be appointed in agreement of both the groups.
(3)The said arbitrator, passed order against the SRCM, Shajahanpur group on x-party basis without giving any opportunity to the SRCM, Shajahanpur group to defend the case.
(4) M/s NIXI implemented the order (by way of blocking the web-site) without even serving the order. Can any oreder to implelented without serving it ?
(5) SRCM, Shajahanpur group immediately approached the Allahabad High Court against the order. Unfortunately Allahabad High Court also upheld the order passed by the arbitrator appointed by M/s NIXI, saying that M/s NIXI is not a Govt. Organisation ( even though M/s NIXI is a semi Govt. Organisation)
(6)As a last step, SRCM, Shajahanpur group, approached the Supreme Court of India. The hon'ble Judges of the Supreme Court of India easily got to know the misdeeds done by Mr.Chari and his worthy associates, which is clear from the order passed by the Supreme court, "The appointment of the arbitrator was done without consulting the petitioner herein and since the rules and regulations of the disputes' resolution policy of respondent no.2 (Mr. Char & associates) were found to be inconsistent with the Indian Arbitration & Conciliation Act2
1996". Accordingly, the Supreme court passed the order saying "The petitioner (SRCM, Shajahanpur group) could not challenge the award earlier therefore, we grant two weeks' time to the petitioner to challenge the award of the arbitrator before the appropriate forum".
For further details of the judgement, please go to the following address:

Hope, now it is clear, how the site(SRCMShahjahanpur.org.in) is temporarily blocked and how Mr.Chari and his worthy associates temporarily won the case.
Now the stage is open to the whole world to decide the fate of Mr.Chari and his worthy associates. May God bless them according to their misdeeds !!!
